We have to decide on Senior Quotes for our yearbook by Friday. They can be no longer than 25 words, and must be school appropriate haha.
I figured I'd use a quote from Survivor since it's what everybody associates me with, and I had originally wanted to use:
"I've got the million-dollar check written already. I mean, I'm the winner, it's just how do I get there from here." -Richard Hatch,
Survivor: Borneo
To me it seems like the perfect quote for a Survivor fan, yet one of my friends brought up the point that maybe I don't want to be always associated with
the fat naked gay cocky guy who went to jail for lying and cheating.
I've been looking for another quote that's just as good, perhaps from Rob C or Yul, or even Probst, but haven't seen anything as good as the Hatch
quote.
Anybody here got ideas for something I could use instead?

I've actually been thinking the exact same thing. I need a senior quote in 2 weeks, and I was thinking of doing something from survivor, or manipulating a
survivor's quote(s). Something like, "I came in here trying to play with honesty and integrity, and if all the firewood in the forest couldn't
keep my torch alight, then I'd lie cheat and steal." Eww, I can't believe I just merged Scunt with the great Rob C for an example...don't
listen to me.

I used Shii Ann's quote on the ASS DVDs for my senior quote. Something about "if I can't go all the way I am going to go all the way
fighting."

Well, I think most people would not recognize any but the MOST famous quotes as coming from Survivor (this from someone whose Sr quote came from Lewis
Carroll).
The get the bang for the buck, it would have to be something "legendary", like "The Tribe has sopken; it's time for you to go.", which actually has a fair amount of significance for a graduate :) |
