Show Description DURHAM COUNTY is an emotionally powerful series combining police procedural with family melodrama. The show blurs conventions by implanting a menace into the usually safe neighbourhood confines -- without its inhabitants being aware of it. To thwart this menace, Homicide Detective Mike Sweeney must first identify it. Is it his former schoolmate, Ray Prager -- a man whose history with Mike is mired in controversy and whose unsavoury demeanour belies his fragility? I watched, but didn't think it was that great...perhaps because I didn't see the episodes before. I'm going to download and and watch those to decide if it's worth watching the rest. Apparently there are only six episodes tho, so it's not that big of a commitment.

I'm not overly fond of the lead actor (his ears are gross) but I like the feel of the show. It is dark. Lacrosse dark.
