My son just got into Poke'mon, thanks to one of the kids at his school, and now instead of us "catching them all" - they are "catching all of my money and son's time"! Why is this so addictive?! At first, I didn't believe it until SOMEONE told me to try play it on my DS glares It's like crack. Now, I must get my Chimchar to a higher level than my son's Piplup!!! OMG - someone help me! It is so cute, and then I put like 20 coats of gloss on it so it is REALLY REALLY SHINY. Pokemon is way addictive...luckily I escaped its grasp many years ago. Snorlax is still awesome though.

At least with crack you can get treatment; what adult is going to admit to being hooked on Pokemon. I've played Red, Blue, Yellow, Fire, Emerald and Crystal.
