I'm not really sure if this is true. This might be similar to the report years ago about the 6th season shooting in the Philippines, but that turned out to
be Japan. The biggest red herring though is the part about it being a celebrity edition though.

hell no, filming for s17 hasn't started yet. and Alicia Silverstone is filming episodes of How I Met Your Mother, no chance in hell is there any legitimacy
to that bogus ass report.

Well, Alicia dropped out of HIMYM. Which could even support the report since that extends her relationship with CBS.
Still, it is strange. A resort? |

Not that I believe this, but if there was a celebrity edition, it makes sense that they might want to film it in secret at a time nobody expects since the
celebs are more high-profile.

What sorevivor13 posted is true, for the French...It is the FRENCH VERSION of Survivor, NOT THE AMERICAN VERSION... But thank you anyway sorevivor13...

What I posted in another over-eager website:
SURVIVOR: PHILIPPINES IS NOT GONNA HAPPEN. First, there's a TRAVEL ALERT on all United States nationals within the Philippines due to potential terrorist threats against them. Second, there is NO VIABLE AREA for filming. The areas in and around the Camarines are not remote enough for a Survivor-type location. Third, there is CREDIBLE SPECULATION that the 17th season of Survivor will be filmed in GABON (a country in Africa). To all Philipeepsies: Survivor's not coming here. Get over it. |
