First off...did ya ever consider that maybe the positivity and negativity is listed in alphabetical order? Maybe THAT is why UTRN is above UTR is above UTRP.
Okay genius. So quick to criticize *sigh*. I was the one who MADE that order in the bottom right box, so I was the one who ORDERED those edits myself.
*Shakes head*
Also, lemme go over those five people you mentioned.
Jenn-Was a huge part of the ONE good post-merge episode where she fought against her own elimination and fell JUST short. STILL, she WAS hated for being boring, until Coby and her friendship was shown.
According to edgic, she got a MOR2 rating for that. As hated as she might have been, she is no longer hated now thank goodness. Becky, unfortunately,
has had no such turnaround in fortune, and yet as you can see, there certainly isn't a whole lot of justification to single her out in particular let
alone justify CI hate entirely around Becky and Sundra
Amber-HATED, hence why we all think she's such a shitty winner
Yet that doesn't stop people hating Outback and saying the entire season sucks because of poorly edited Amber (among others like Nick), like they use to justify CI hate. Logically inconsistent? I think so
Stacy-She got an OTTNN, which is VERY different, mainly because, and you should like this, THAT episode, she painted as a racist. Also, she was the person who came up with the idea to boot Edgardo, which is, unquestionalby, the best moment of Fiji. Still, Stacy is extremely hated.
Actually, she was just painted as a bitch. Anyways, even if Stacy is "hated," Becky is strangely MORE hated, and you should be able to admit
this much. As much hate as Stacy SHOULD get, she totally doesn't. Becky gets the most flaming, because people feel the need to take her down a billion
notches and burn her and CI at the stake
Nick-Boring and hated. Still, more interesting than Becky because he wasn't in the majority. Same goes for Jenn.
So you liked him better for being an underdog? Wow. I can't believe you're setting yourself up like this
. You are telling me a character edit doesn't matter now, but
that game position matters more in this instance, and yet Becky was the 8-4 underdog that came from behind and wound up in the finals. You tell me which
"position" sounds more interesting. Apparently, you think the no strategy lazy guy edit blipped out 3rd in minority tribe position is more
interesting
Darrah-She won three immunity challenges in a row and had a ridiculous accent.
This is what Darrah DID, not what her edit was though. I agree Darrah is interesting for being a challenge whore, but in terms of her actual edited portrayal, it was worse than Becky's in visibility and development
Becky had nothing unique about her. She was boring, boring, boring. She has several strikes against her. She was a sheep. She never made any moves, and that's playing conservatively. That got Becky ZERO votes. She never had any outbursts. She made one of the dumbest moves ever by refusing the immunity idol when she could've been going home.
No. But let's move on...
Also, her BEST edit was a CP2.
Yeah, and that's pretty damn good considering Amber, Jenn, Darrah, Nick, and Stacy didn't get anything that good. Also, people I rated above her in terms of edgic entertainment value didn't even get that good of a rating like Boo, Morasca, and arguably Rodger, depending on if you love the OTTP types over CPs
That means extremely low visibility and no positive or negative tone. Becky had two invisible edits. One of those was in the FIRST episode. The OTHER was in the mutiny episode. So basically, two of the BIGGEST episodes of the season, Becky was a non-factor.
Who cares when the visibility occurred? Bottom line, there are plenty of people who had low visibility in all the other seasons, other people who had 2
or even more INV edits (including the 1st episode), and who were also non-factors and yet everyone piles shit on Becky alone. Can I get a WTF for $3000?
The ONLY episode where she had ANY tone, was an episode where she got a UTRP1. That's the weakest tone a player can get.
Well, I never said she was a great edited character. I don't disagree with that. But she isn't alone in the barely visible edits composing Survivor edgic history, but is basically seen as the #1 dud and that's the point
This is the same season while Sundra, Ozzy, and Yul are getting tones of positivity. Becky was a nobody.
Which kind of flies in the face of the argument that Aitu was shoved down our throats as ultra positive good guys huh? We were not meant to like Becky
nor root for her
