You seem really nice and possibly a little naive, so I'll just lay this out for you - you're not going to get many (if any) responses here that
won't either intellectually or otherwise offend you. I don't want to discourage you, but I'm a bit drunk and feeling helpful. This is a pretty
cynical place.
I do have an idea for a twist, however - instead of getting voted off and going to the Loser Lodge, ejected contestants are thrown into a volcano after being forced to consume peyote at gunpoint. This opens up a lot of storytelling possibilities, from the obvious (gun as a phallic symbol, exemplified in a bizarre rifle-rape scene) to the profound (mother of 3 tossed into volcano has her life flash before her eyes as she's incinerated, and realizes all too late that her husband's been fucking his sister for the past 20 years). I know some of you guys know that in Singapore, every where you see there will always be a lot of buildings, and you guys may think that Survivor: Singapore
will be a game being played in a building or something, am I right?
Well, although Singapore is mainly an urban country, there are still quite a number of rural places in Singapore; Survivor: Singapore will be played on a sparsely inhabited island called Pulau Ubin. Pulau Ubin offers a natural habitat with a few villages on the island. The Singapore government actually wanted to built a town on the island but the plan was shelved. So this Survivor will be played in a rural setting, with tribe's camp, challenges and tribal council be held in the jungle. |
