Now, of course, that means TAR karma will pay us back by having TK/Rachel bore their way to the win. I would be thrilled if Don and Nick won, they were the team that kept me watching through this season, but in a lot of ways they have already won. Other than them, I'll root for Christina.

I wasn't exactly rooting for her to win, but I wish she had been on to the end. I'm pushing 70 now, but back in my dating days, I think I would have found her a lot of fun to be around. Say what you please, but women like her usually let you know where you stand. No head games. That, and she's cute as the dickens. But it's obvious that I value good looks more than most who post here.

I have never been so happy that a spoiler was WRONG! Don & Nick FTW! Although the fact that they made F3 is even more satisfying than I thought. One more thing - there was some kind of Freudian slip comment from Christina and Ron about being #1 and they were 2 but now one or something like that. Maybe that comment was left in their to go along with their win?

That's quite the company. I also can't get over just how negative Ron was in the 2nd leg. Forget Ian and Frank, this is the biggest redemption arc TAR has ever seen.

His redemption edit was so good, I really think they are being set up for the win- also they look REALLY happy in the previews running to the finish.

Could you please list all the times on the race when she seemed to be a fun person to be around? I personally didn't notice any. I will agree with you that she always let Nate know where he stood. The answer was that he was always wrong, in everything he said and did. I'm missing how that would make her a fun person to be around. It seems that your version of fun is being constantly insulted.

If the preview is any indication, we see the Hippies struggling, the Don/Nick discussing a big mistake and Christina triumphing over a tough task. But we'll see. I'm even happy with the hippies. They may not be an exciting team, but they certainly don't whine and they don't have a sense of entitlement to win the race. I'd be happy with and for any of the top three teams winning and it has been a LONG time since i felt that way about a final 3. But I'm rooting for Ron/Christina.

If you're really an old man, and not a 13 year old who can't get any respect in the real world so he/she fakes being old online, then you're my new favorite poster. Between the Jen & Nate spoiler and the Amanda wins spoiler, anyone else wanna throw out some conspiracy theories about CBS faking spoilers to excite jaded fans? Because damn if this and Survivor China haven't been awesome in this regard.

Nick/Don are pretty much destined to be 3rd, but 1st place is up in the air - they're also the two teams seen in the destination that looks most like a Finish Line (secluded woodland bit). Forget Ian and Frank, this is the biggest redemption arc TAR has ever seen. Tian/Jaree went from the most universally hated team in the cast Ep #1 to rivalling the Clowns in popularity by Ep #7. That'll be hard to top. Do those who finish in second and third place get any money? Everyone gets money - TAR6 Aaron posted how much everyone his season got in the only decent thread in the TWoP forum (Questions For Former Racers)

As R/C were running to the mat, he said to to Chris, "I love you" and Chris responded back the same. He's really being redeemed. I hated him at first, but over the race, he's come a long way. Just like I hated Ian at first, but he grew on me. I yelled at the TV when I knew Jenn and Nate were eliminated. I was so happy that the spoiler was wrong. I will be happiest with an R/C or D/N win. TK/R OK, but I'd prefer either of the other two to get the million. You go Gramps!

I'm sure there was a monetary prize for each place, but the lower ones are fairly minimal.

So it lends creedence to the other racers joining in to race the final or final 2 legs to keep spoilers to a minimum. Why else would they fly them to Alaska? This year is great for incorrect spoilers. It is interesting how both Amanda and Nate and Jenn both made it close to the end, so that we are held in suspense until the penultimate and final episodes? Maybe it is CBS planting info here... conspiracy theorists.. discuss. But can you believe it for the first time in a very long while we really have no idea who the winner will be going into the final episode. It could be our first grandparent/grandchild duo, our first full asian duo who made it further than any other parent/child team. I think this is also the season which had our first family duo to make it to the end of the race (F3), and now we have two? And as much I would have killed to have Kynt/Vyxsin in the F3 at least TK/Rachel showed some game and a little personality in the last episode. And to whomever compared Ron and Christina to Big Brother's Dick/Danielle, you are delusional, the Donato's had no redemption whatsoever in their show. All the teams in Portugal flew into Alaska. They didn't show Kynt or Vyxin at all. They got a phone call from Nate and Jen and they were all happy to hear from them - wait till they see the show. Nate and Jen will be leaving "Tah Pie" and going to Alaska, probably on a plane with K&V - since the call came the day before the end of the race.
