so I guess this season is all recycled challenge again with modification
like money roll is a modification of a challenge in fiji the gauntlet of course from palau and the cat and mouse i think the challenge from palau and cook islands where one tribe has to chase another tribe and the first IC reminds me at the challenge in eps 1 pearl islands. |

I decided to cap the future challenges shown in the intro credits:
Episode 2 IC 'Smash and Grab' - there were only 10 or 12? around during Cook Islands, so there might be some form of twist to it: my guess is that instead of 3 people going twice, it'll be 6 going once, with 3 on the puzzle. 
Probable Ep 2 RC? All have the buffs they should so it's likely pre-switch (and since there will be more shots from it, it's probably very early. I think it's a challenge similar to the challenge in Exile Island episode 3 where they had to get the pillows, only this time it's in the water. 
Post episode-2? What the hell is that red thing? |

Obviously episode 2 IC again - we see Amanda go, Ozzy and Parvati are amust since they went in Cook Islands. That
leaves the three puzzle spots to Cirie/Ami/Yau/James/Jonathan/Eliza.

Well, this appears to be the ep 2 RC, but that thing really looks like the green merge buff to me. I know there was a debate as to whether this is Mikey B or Joel but don't remember if there was any consensus reached. 
Again I'd say ep 2 RC, but neither have face paint. So it could be the challenge above or a different one altogether. I do think this is Mikey B though since Joel has a lot more facial growth already.

I think there may be only 1 challenge in episode 2. According to that challenge board, they were only scheduled to shoot "Smash & Grab" (which I
assume is the one that's similar to that CI challenge) during that time frame.

Just to point one other thing out.
Jonathan is shirtless in one pic and not shirtless in another, so it is possible there's two water wrestling challenges. Re: the green buff looking thing - I'm trying to figure out if it's possible that there'd be a wrestling challenge where it looks like there are teams once it's individual challenges. Hmm.. |

The Episode 3 title has been released, it's "I Should Be Carried on the Chariot-Type Thing!"
Perhaps this means there will be a repeat of the Fiji challenge "Chariots of Mire," from Episode 1. I don't know if Palau will have the same type of open terrain to make that challenge possible, but maybe they'll modify it in such a way to make it work. Also, seems someone gets upset that they don't ride on the chariot. |

I think the pic of Ozzy is from a yet unseen episode. In the ep 2 challenge they had to go back to the beach before the next person could go and this does not
match the pic shown.
It looks like Eliza in the water to me although it is hard to tell. The platform is purple and it's team challenge not individual so pre-merge I'm guessing. The Jonathan pic without the face paint I think is from a seperate challenge than the one we will see in ep 3. In the pre-challege ep 3 pics you can see Jonathan's face paint and I don't think it all washed off that fast. |

Something interesting here. Ozzy was the first one in the water (according to the show). And players couldn't start until the player in the water was back at the start. Why is Parvati(?) in the water in this shot. I slowed down the challenge video from this week, and when Ozzy dived there was no one in the water where Parvati is in this shot. Do you think they re-shot it for the credits or something? Interesting. |
