She does have a weak voice for the nature of AI but she's still original and could go far if she keeps making up for it in other ways. Right now, Brooke's "type" is definitely IN. The music scene constantly changes so I don't see why this show shouldn't try to match it, although the winners never fit in with any trends.

And I disagree about her not having a voice for radio. Have you heard all these new singer songwriter chicks that are all over the radio sing live? They miss more notes than they hit. STUDIO MAGIC cleans that shit right up, and that doesn't mean they aren't talented either.

As for the "YOU CAN FIND HER IN ANY COFFEE HOUSE" criticisms, you can say that about pretty much any of these people. There are PLENTY of people at Six Flags and the like with huge voices that compare to or even surpass the "great" vocalists that have been on this show.

I'm not under the impression that Brooke is going to be an amazing superstar but after years of the same old thing, it's refreshing to actually have an artistic girl on the show who knows her boundaries.
