It was even sadder to watch than I thought it would be. He is a total class act, and the season will not be the same without him. It's hard not to
speculate on what he could have done if he had stayed.

thx, SJ, you made me cry (again) with that clip. And I'm at work! Hope the boss doesn't see me.

That was really sad
Jonathan Christ is my favorite survivor ever! A true player of the game. |

So unbelievably pissed that he had to go out like that. He had the game in the bag and now he didn't even make merge.
I miss him already. |

This wasn't supposed to happen. It wasn't his time. But ultimately, his life and health is more important then the 600 grand.
With a broken knee, he still owned the shit of that challenge. And he loves playing this game. Is he the best at playing it? Hell no. But that doesnt mean shit, when youre more entertaining and real than just about anyone that has ever played this game. To Jonathan Penner, the greatest Survivor of all time! God bless that man. We shall wait patiently until the next resurrection of our saviour. |

On the third day, He rose again...
Did any of you notice the sky turn black for 3 hours when Jonathan was eliminated from the game? 3 hours + 1 Jonathan = 4given |

I've always been lurking around but it's shit like this that gets me motivated enough to sign up and post something instead of just reading and
chuckling.
Anyway, I just wanted to thank JC for enriching every week's episode with your divine glow and sarcasm and for kicking some serious ass in general. I disliked you in CI, not really as much as I hated Candice, but you've completely turned that around for me and I 'see the light' now! I bawled when I was watching the episode on Youtube- the revelation that you'd be gone from the future episodes was so hard hitting despite the spoilers. My brothers and sisters, if I could, I'd like to start up the Singaporean branch of the Church of Jonathan Christ. (Or Asian branch. Whichever.) P.S: A resounding 'Amen!' to the hundred thou'. |

Also, I was very glad to see Probst giving Jonathon the respect he deserved when he left. Totally cool!! I think Probst wanted him to stick around too....

Maybe Probst's reaction was the same as James'
"Now I'm stuck with all these women and they annoy the piss out of me.." (or paraphrasing) |

Just got through watching the episode... ugh, that fucking sucked. Such a shame to see him go out like that, and if another ASS ever happens they better beg
him to come back and have a real chance. Without any poorly designed challenges to injure him, or anyone else for that matter.
Or, just replace Probst with him. I think it's about time - I doubt JC would have blabbed like a dumbarse that someone was going to be sent home before the episode even aired. The most tragic thing about this though is that JC was the best chance left of getting that walking STD Parvarti out before she sails to the end. |

Wow, just wow. Finally the doubters can see the strength Jonathan truly has as a player and his passion for the game, and after this episode there can be no
doubt from this point on. For all of us true 'fans' of Survivor, Jonathan will always be our Lord and Savior.
Say what you will about Cook Islands and Jonathan's grating people then. I think he understood it was a game and wasn't there to make friends like so many of the fucknuggets from that year were. And he got the asshole 'Peg' from there out because of it. But he was playing the game like it should be played and his ever so early departure while going out swinging shows his true character. One thing that really irked me was the bitch face Amanda had when Probst told everyone that Jonathan was medvac'd. And Cirie biting her lip to keep from smiling in a moment of triumph. I just hope these two didn't realize the gravity of the situation at the time. Cirie seemed to understand later at tribal. But just got rubbed the wrong way from their expressions. Jonathan, we know you're reading the threads. Just a quick thank you for keeping the show interesting and letting us uber dorks bicker back and forth with our eccentricities about this show we love to hate. I hope you've had as much fun around Sucks as the rest of us that don't take ourselves that seriously, and will now join us regularly. Brother MoGuL out. |

What a fucking bummer. I'm not ashamed to admit that I cried like a 13-year old, lovesick schoolgirl. This season sucks Chet through a straw without him.
But love the Crown of Thorns boot icon. |

PeachessandCreeams wrote: Let me enlighten you. Kathy lost Chet and Tracy to tribal switch. Every other person she made friends with on exile island was also on the other tribe. She was stuck with Jason, the Alexis/Natalie never going to break them up alliance, Parvati/James never going to break them up alliance, and Eliza. Jonathan was the only one to stay with her in her shelter while all the other cool kids stayed in the other one. Jonathan was a friend to her and she was there to help him walk like she was his crutch. Whether Jonathan liked her or not, that is not the point. She adored him and he became her beacon of hope. When he left, she was back to having no one. That my dear, is why she was so emotional. |

Damn.
For a player like Jonathan, that had to be the most disappointing way to go out. Brought down by a serious injury when he would have played through any
pain. I'm sad for him that he never got to continue on and it's a damn shame because he would have certainly made things a hell of a lot more
interesting.

When he was on the boat, there was a large flock of white birds flying in the distance. It looked like 1,000 doves accompanying JC's voyage. Very fitting. |

PS, you are so right. Never have I cried over a reality show contestant
