Injuring yourself and getting an infection, causing you to be UNABLE TO SURVIVE is part of the GAME. It is not a time of national mourning. There are other ways to make money and support your family. Millions of people do it everyday. The only reason his Airai tribemates were crying is because Jonathan escaped before they could stab him in the back. Please don't tell me you're going to measure your emotions against the sentiments of unstable Kathy. She said she knew him for what, 3 days? And then cried her head off? And that actually touches your heart? Oh. My. God.

At least when you quit, it's in your control, though you still have to live with being a wimp (I'm not counting Jenna M. in that statement, though). I've always felt really bad for Michael, Bruce, and Gary from Fiji (Yes, his condition was serious. Allergic reactions at his age can't be taken lightly). Now I feel even worse for Jonathan, because he was going to have such a huge impact on this game if he could have just continued playing.

Yeah, he got hurt, but he was in a much better position on his tribe than say Mike was when he had to leave yet everyone felt bad for him like they should. As for the people who quit who weren't forced to, go flame them. I'm not a Jonathan fan, but if you can look up and notice the fact that he had at least two easy boots in front of him if he had joined the fans (with Eliza further down than him). Or he would have had all 4 fans leave before him if Jason had joined the faves. He was actually in control of the tribe whether you can get your head out of your ass or not.

I gotta be honest: I never liked Jonathan much, but last week's episode I liked him a bit, and after last night he's earned 100% of my respect. I'm glad to know he was cured before anything worse could happen.

You could see it in his eyes how badly he wanted to stay, and I believe that out of any contestant ever on the show, he had the most heart at it, it seems as though he truly loved the game. I hope we get to see him on a true ASS2, I just love watching his gameplay.
