And look how much more of an audience it gets than Lipstick Jungle or Eli Stone..and I would bet they both cost three times as much to produce. Damn...imagine
what they got from Redbook and Dial product placement alone last night...

Don't mock Eli Stone. Jonny Lee Miller divorced Angelina Jolie for me. He just hasn't found me yet. I'll just watch that show and channel my
thoughts to him. "Come to Momma..."

Don't know what site this info came from, but it was posted by somebody else in the ratings thread over in the Survivor Spec forum:
ABC's Lost won the 9 p.m. hour, with 11.87 million viewers and a 4.8/13 among adults 18-49. Great episode last night, wasn't it? A repeat of CBS' CSI was second in total viewers (11.45 million) and fourth among adults 18-49 (2.9/ 8). Rounding off the hour was Fox's Don't Forget the Lyrics (Viewers: #3, 8.80 million; A18-49: #3t, 3.1/ 8), which is the perfect fit out of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, NBC's oddly appealing Celebrity Apprentice (Viewers: #4, 8.10 million; A18-49: #3t, 3.1/ 8 -- go Carol Alt!), and the CW's relocated Reaper (Viewers: #5, 2.81 million; A18-49: #5, 1.2/ 3), which should have done better without original episodes of CSI and Grey's Anatomy in the competitive mix. Worth noting for Celebrity Apprentice was growth of 94 percent in the demo out of the My Name is Earl encores.Lol @ the show being referred to as "oddly appealing"! |

LOL, so I suppose Omarosa did drive up the ratings judging from episode 1, 7, and 10(her biggest ones).

^ me too! I watched most of seasons 2 and 3 and a few eps with Brent from a later season. I just randomly tuned into this season starting halfway through the first episode and i've enjoyed it a lot. |

Last night's finale was a winner in the ratings:
9:00 p.m. Viewers: 10.96 million (#2), A18-49: 3.9/10 (#2) 9:30 p.m. Viewers: 11.61 million (#1), A18-49: 4.3/11 (#1) 10:00 p.m. Viewers: 12.55 million (#1), A18-49: 4.7/13 (#1) 10:30 p.m. Viewers: 13.16 million (#1), A18-49: 5.0/14 (#1) To put it in perspective, Survivor got 11.56 million viewers last week. Of course you can't necessarily compare a regular season episode with a finale episode, but still, Survivor's ratings keep declining while The Apprentice is rising in the ratings. Looks like The Apprentice is the #1 show on TV again. |

For me survivor (and to a lesser extent TAR) are the perfect lead-in for Apprentice. I'll watch if it follows Survivor, but tend to lose track if it's
put on another night like season 5.

"See you next year...we're gonna be around for a loooooong time!!"Of course, The Donalds want to be around for a long time. For $3,000,000 an episode, he wants to be around until all his teeth fall off. Of all the money he is getting, he could had donated more than $250,000 last night. Cheap bastard. |

I have the GREATEST idea EVER!!! To boost ratings, next year the Apprentice All-Stars play Survivor and the Survivor All-Stars play
Apprentice!!!!

Thanks for the NYDN article, SS.
I'm very pleased that it will be celebrities and only once a year. It gives you something to look forward to, instead of taking it for granted like Survivor, for example. Trump must be in his glory with ratings like that! |

Trump looks like a mannequin in that picture.
So they've already signed on for at least 2 more celebrity editions? That means we're guaranteed more Trump until 2010 at least. Can you feel the excitement! |

It definitely intrigued me to return, of course with the writers strike and the initial draw of Omarosa were the main factors. I skipped out after season three
when it seemed like the biggest bullshit that Chris was being kept around. Makes me want to go back and watch four, five, and six and even Martha. I am kind of
pissed that Carolyn isn't around anymore.

If Celebrity Apprentice were twice a year, the quality of celebrities would go down. Once a year shows would make them "special" enough that possibly
even B listers would want to play.

The Celeb App could have F-List celebs, I don't give a fuck....I just want it back in September.
