Real life and board life are part of a continuum not completely separable. For some people they are closer together; for others far apart. It\'s the cause of many a board problem but also the reason that there is a feeling of community.

It is possible to grieve for someone you\'ve never met because you\'ve shared a lot over the years. Michael shared a tremendous amount of himself and his views. It doesn\'t matter whether you agreed or disagreed or even flamed him (I certainly did more than once). We can unite as members of a community to grieve for him, his family, his partner and his friends.
