It is impossible to descend to a lower level of Hell than the level to which Kristy Lee sunk tonight. I hate everything about her and the vocal wasn't that hot to boot. Hey Kristy, you sing that you'd gladly stand beside you and defend the USA - why don't you quit American Idol and enlist in the Marines? What a cynical, calculated move to save one's sorry-voiced ass. She sure picked the right network for it.

1. DAVID C. Among the other virtues of his version, one could understand the words to the song, which are quite good, better than in the original. Can he do it all?

2. SYESHA. The judges were correct. Her vocal was more powerful than last week's good effort, and this week, the power was not a product of changing the song to fit one's whims.

3. MICHAEL. When in doubt, sing Queen's storm-trooper anthems.

4. CARLY. I did not understand the judges' hate for her, for the second week in a row. If she was nervous, and she was, it was because she had no clue that she'd be the bottom three last week, and is running scared. Her song choice was the opposite of the Whitney Houston singers of the show, in that she chose an original vocalist who is easy to surpass (raspy-voiced Bonnie Tyler).

5. RAMIELE. Pass.

6. DAVID A. I agree with Simon.

7. CHIKEZIE. Better than his poor ballads from the past in that he brought energy to the performance, but I thought it was all over the map pitch-wise.

8. JASON. Same old same old.

9. BROOKE. She Chris Slighed the song, turning a dark ode to stalking into a relatively happy sing-along. For this musical descration alone, she must pay.

10. KRISTY LEE. Just die.
