I once had a huge red spot in my eye that didn't go away for about 3 weeks. I got it by rubbing my eyes because of allergies.
Good news! You'll live!!

Is your cheek swelling at all?
I'm sure you'll be fine. It's not really a big enough area to lose a large amount of blood fast. If you start to feel weak, call your doc. |

Don't worry about the mark on your eye, it will be gone in a couple weeks. It is fairly common. What you need to think about is what you were doing before
it happened.
Were you on a plane? Did you rub your eye hard? Were you straining? Do you have high blood pressure? You should have it looked at. I suspect you have or you probably wouldn't know what it was called. |

They are harmless. You can get them from coughing too hard or even straining when you go to the bathroom.
 If you have itching, pain, or discharge, get it
checked out. Otherwise it will go away on it's own.
