The Dorff article is certifiably stupid in a number of ways: 1) Saying Carly is the "most likely" to be booted next is dubious. She certainly could
be, but more sucksters would probably pick KKKristy or Syesha. 2) Calling Carly "tiny" is laughable. 3) The album, which I reviewed here, certainly
IS pop but so what? It doesn't mean that as an adult singer 7 years later she can't or shouldn't do rock. The songs were picked by the would-be
starmakers at MCA, probably with minimal input from Carly. Dorff knows this as well as anybody. 4) Yes, the album flopped. Dorff implies it's Carly's
fault. As some of you have already pointed out, Dorff is assuming we haven't actually heard the album and that it must be terrible. It ISN'T terrible
and Carly's voice isn't the main problem. I thought its biggest flaw was in the producers' lack of empathy with or confidence in her voice. They
tried to get her to be another Britney, which she isn't.

Looks like it's confirmed that she's singing
I still don't know what to make of it since Carly's high notes aren't exactly distinct and strong, but we'll see. She's running out of time to cement a frontrunner status. |

I'm not happy with this song choice. But oh well. Hope she does well regardless.

Carly has a good voice, very big, but she doesn't have a distinct voice. That's why I like her when she sings songs which are fun and cool on their
own, like "Crazy On You". On "Without You", I didn't think she put enough emotions or built enough during the performance. She was
basically just singing a song.
I think Simon's comments will help as much as hurt with votes. She looked beautiful tonight. |

Ugh. So much for that.
Carly's canned. This was the week K. Lo shined and made herself a contender, and Carly hasn't even done that yet. Cooktard's the only hope to overthrow Archtard after Carly wasted a potential shining moment. |

I liked her tonight and quite honestly I want to go all Before He Cheats on Simon's car for the way he's treating her.
She's gone if not this week than very, very soon. |

Well, she's safe according to DI. We have at least one more week of <3 Carlypwnage <3

If she's safe this week she should definitely be getting the pimp spot next week. She's due, she hasn't had it at all yet during the finals and I
doubt they're giving it to Kristy.

If Syesha is still there they will give it to her. They were already trying to script her lame comeback tonight.
Funny how the night Carly looks beautiful, Simon has nothing to say about her appearance. |

Brooke going tomorrow night is Carly's best chance for survival. If Brooke bites the dust this week there are still Syesha and Kristy there to go home
before Carly.

After watching it over, she was really, really good. Such a shame the judges can't see that.

It's not they can't, it's that they choose not to comment on it. They have Archie blinders on.

I though she was the best tonight. And she finally dressed nicely too. I'm pretty sure she won't be voted off, and FINALLY covering up the tattoo might
be enough to keep her completely out of the bottom 3 all by itself. I just finished voting for her for two streight hours. For what it's worth, I got three
busy signals. Last week I did the same thing and didn't get any. So I'm hopeful.

Poor, Carly. She picked a song that showed her weaknesses tonight. It just fell short on those highest notes, which she pushed too far again. I wish
she'd pick songs that are more in her natural range. The beginning was nice.
