I have seen this article posted, but the parts about Amanda/Natalie are a little suprising to me. In Jeff Probst preview he mentions Natalie needing to get Amanda on her side. Why would she need to do that? Amanda had some confessionals not trusting Parvati earlier in the season. Is Natalie going to play up the Ozzy blindside to Amanda to try and stay? It seems that Natalie would least want Amanda in the finals with her. Also why would Amanda/Cire ever realize they need to take out Parvati. She has already pissed 2 jury votes goodbye (Ozzy/James). He also hints at a Amanda/Parvati show down. Yul had 7 in the finale but 8 in the episode before that. But everyone else has had their most confessionals in the finale, and then won. Does this mean whoever gets the most confessionals Sunday night should be the presumed winner? Please be Cirie please be Cirie please be Cirie...

He said that you have Parv on the show for the same reason you have Amber, as a second chance. It doesn't necessarily mean she wins... And he did say in his previews for China, he called Amanda in Amber (because she was Todd's sidekick.)

I've been saying this forever, Parvati and Amanda have had too poor of an edit thus far to be winners. Cirie has had her quiet episodes, but she still is fucking THERE when she is quiet. Parvati and Amanda had quiet episodes and those were when they disappeared from the radar. And you can't claim that Parvati only had little time because her tribe never went to TC, because Tom still got decent airtime when his tribe went to TC only ONCE. And the same for Chris, who post-switch Vanuatu was still there and shown in important scenes even when not voting someone off. And don't forget out friend Amber, who was always in some part of the episodes when Chapera won the IC's. Parvati needed to have focus in the episodes where her tribe didn't go to TC and she didn't. Cirie has had focus on her from the beginning and has never really floated off the radar. Realistically she has the airtime and edit that gives her the victory. My only worry is the $100,000 fan vote prize at the Reunion meaning Cirie falls short again and they want to reward her.

So I really don't think anyone should be discounted for not being shown enough (except Nat). In a post-ASS world, why anyone is trying to rely on pre-ASS editing techniques is really beyond me. Parvati and Jenna M will be similar winners in their negativity. if Parvati did win, I don't think the editors would paint her positively based on the perception of her pre-FvF gameplay. She would be getting this edit. I dislike the girl too people, but seriously stop arguing the completely obvious.

Actually, Parvati DID receive focus when her tribe didn't go to TC, but given they never went to TC post-swap, her focus was more of the sympathy for Jonathan variety, and being on hand for rewards variety. Cirie has had a ton of confessionals, a ton of airtime, but what connections does she have to the jury as presently formed? Few to none. Her best connections are with the people still in the game, and pretty much have been the whole way through. She's had very little SPV from the people still in the game (whether Jury or active players): the last time she even felt threatened was way back post-swap, when Joel was talking about targeting the weak, and she knew she was in that grouping. Plus, she went on two rewards that involved family (letter from home and husband there to go on reward) and we saw nothing about the family side of things. Instead we heard her (a) talk about Ami flashing her tits and (b) talk about how much she's gotten from the experience blah blah and never going to be afraid again yada yada. Bottom line - it's the respect edit for someone who played magnificently yet did not win. It showed her to be deserving of the win, but she didn't make it to face the jury. That's how I'm reading it. Her edit had been designed to make viewers cheer for her ... and probably to make them vote for her to receive a bonus prize (like $100,000, and/or a car.) eta: Marquesan, Natalie only has a shot if she's the ultimate blindside winner. Will they want to give the game to a fan, and admit a fan outplayed them all? I'm thinking, hurt feelings aside, that they will want to prove that the favorites are far superior to the fans, and will give the win to whichever favorite is left. Ozzy may be pissed at whoever that may be, but is his ego really going to let him admit defeat by a newbie? It's a moot point however, based on the spoilers that say Natalie is gone at F4.

OR, that Amanda doesn't make the "F2" if that spoiler is credible. I refuse to believe she wins after all the OBVIOUS "Amanda is a jury threat" comments. The ONLY time a winner has really won after having something said like that about them was when Shii Ann made her vote for Amber and said she was voting the person who would win the whole game if they weren't taken out. ETA: Oops, forgot about Teresa in Africa talking about Ethan. OK, still...that was one comment. Amanda's name has been brought up several.

Prior to final four and final three tribal we could see doubt put on amanda winning so there will be some suspense. If we dont see amanda with a target on her back or amanda with negative comments being made about her in the first part of the finale than she doesnt win because it would be too obvious.

Take a step back and let's look at a few things objectively for a moment. First, we have: Natalie-absolutely nobody. She came into the game in the final 7. She's a non-issue and it's not even worth discussing. If she wins, they would have to release a director's special edition cut of the season to show us who the hell she is other than a good actress in 2 episodes. Amanda-the most loved person left. People like her, they really really do...well at least we've been told. That's enough to make her into an Ethan if she makes the finals or someone who needs to leave before then. She's no Lill and is actually in the social realm of the game. Cirie-the mastermind behind the biggest moves-Ozzy ouster and Erik's ouster. She has also saved Jason, Eliza, and Erik on occassions. She's played a marvelous strategic game. Parvati-she's played an very good game. However, she is being blamed for the majority of the backstabs while not even being the one who orchestrated them. That's a double-edged sword. She never put them together so she can't take credit. Yet, she did it and will take the brunt of the blame, not credit. Parvati has not played an awful game by any means. She's played a good game and I will certainly give her that. However, she has not done anything to make her stand above the status of either Cirie (master strategist) or Amanda (most popular/ liked). That puts her in harm's way in front of the jury. She's definitely not the least of all evils. Plus, she's not all that well spoken. Only some sort of crazy circumstances, going against either Cirie, Amanda, or both, can give Parvati a win. That crazy circumstance would either be (a) a HORRIBLE jury performance by the others, (b) dillussional drug-induced state of the jury on the voting day, or (c) some sort of crazy tie-vote situation where she lucks out with a fire challenge or some kind. ETA: Parvati played a good game, not just okay. I wanted to emphasize that I do agree she played a good game. Still, her game was not so superior that she stands above Amanda or Cirie in jury votes.
