Suity, you're watching this shit fest? The show was so-so, but these new changes make it worse. I liked Montana and the fat guy. Laura wasn't half
bad, though I don't really like the Gracie charcter. Can't they send her to boarding school?

Um...RichFreak...have you noticed Frasier's SUITS?!?!?!??!
That said, it's a bice wind-down for 22 minutes. It's no 30 Rock, but it's smarter than the average sitcom. |

SuitSnob wrote: The Montana firing was interesting considering she hasn't been in a post-strike episode. I thought that was odd but how did you deduce it was one
where Gracie didn't know about Chuck yet? I missed a bit in the very beginning and haven't rewatched it yet. Was there something said somewhere I
missed?
I really liked Montana. I'm going to miss her. And in the last episode I decided I like the new Gracie.
Ryan trying to tell Montana she was being fired was hysterical. This was probably my least favorite episode thus far but there were parts that were still
pretty good.

They actually didn't mention Gracie at all. The entire show was Gracie free! Maybe now that they told her, they will quietly drop the character.

Just read this was canceled. Thought I'd share it with anyone who might care.

I read that it is already being shopped to other networks. I wouldn't be all that surprised if CBS or ABC bites.

I can't believe that they axed it over the sucky Till Death. But any ways, BTY isn't the same show without Montana, the fat guy and Laura (the first
Gracie). Though LOL at them coming out and saying that Montana wasn't Latina.

NBC for built in Fraiser/Cheers audience. Bring in a few key Fraiser writers and gold baby, gold!
Or CBS for Heaton love and possibly the CSI/Back to You/How I Met Your Mother crossover we all desire! 8-P ABC would just mess it up with making it all romantic/girly, adding magic and shit, or adding baby mama drama. |

Sorry kids, I know there was hope, but this show is toast. I watched it and it is ok. Not enough support as a great sitcom with bad ratings for someone to
gamble on this. I like Kelsey and Patricia, but this shows writing was really bad at the beginning and it lost a ton of steam before the strike

The last episdoe was the best yet!
I really think if they gave this a chance, it would build an audience. I really like all the characters, and the new Gracie is growing on me. |

Agreed. Too bad they didn't have this kind of writing at the start.

Fox wanted to keep this because it got better ratings than til' death. The problem was the huge salary costs of Kelsey and Patricia. I liked this show
too, but I really am convinced that I will not be missing it come the new fall season

Yeah, I was going to say, at first I was surprised when I heard they cancelled this. But then I thought about how much they probably had to pay Grammer,
Heaton and the rest of the cast.
The ratings probably didn't justify the huge investment. |
