I thought this was going to shake out as a cliched twins switching identities caper, but then it got seriously Medium-y. Has anyone ever seen Kelly Preston looking this good? The finale's next week and looks like it'll be a doozy. I hope Joe firing that semi is in a dream and not PTSD from the hostage crisis. ETA: what's up with all the dead people suddenly showing up in Ali's kitchen? Only Joe's daddy used to be able to do that. If I were Ariel or Bridgette, I'd be getting awfully pissed. I really like how they do this show to be so family orientated. It really comes across how much of family they actually are. Seeing them eat breakfast every morning and making lunches etc. I hope this show sticks around for a long time. Season finale next week? WTF? All shows are season finaleING : ' (

Is it really something that needs to be freaked out over? Alison's freaking out and poutiness was over the top too, but I do have to admit that Joe is a bit of a dumbass trying to hide the fact that Kelly came onto him from his psychic wife.

Joe knew he was in trouble. You just know he KNEW Allison dreamed what happened. The poor guy can't ever get a break. It's like having a nanycam on you all damn day. That being said, he should have told Allison what happened. And take back the robe. Store credit=school clothes.

No harm, no foul, his response was reasonable, and it's not his fault Ali's got the psychic nannycam on him. Plus she normally dreams about horrific violence, things that make no sense, and scheming evil people, not interoffice romance. Then again maybe Kelly's a scheming evil person. The sugar daddy super-investor skeeved me out, too. The note with the robe was seriously cweepy. His decision to alert her about it was also I think reasonable -- it's now time to let her know a psychochick has appeared on the horizon. I am REALLY looking forward to this finale!

"I pushed you away." Alarm bells went off in my head that she was definitely psycho and setting him up to take a fall in some way.

And i do think the episode was great. I liked the idea that the dead twin brother was inhabiting the body of his living twin in order to commit the crimes. That was good.

That was as intricate a Medium ep as I've ever seen. The suicidal wife did in fact off herself, but to the end of getting the daddy's son -- the tax attorney -- in jail for her murder, to get back at the daddy for not rescuing her from her infant-murdering mother. Again, another incident of unspeakable violence against children. Somebody on the Medium writing staff is seriously fucked up. Still, WHAT a terrific way to end the season! I loved how they turned Kelly into a normal human, and a bottom feeder at that -- this makes perfect sense in retrospect. Happy to have Joe back, Manny back in the DA's chair, and Ali getting some sugar in the garage. Another Bridgette on the way? Only uh-oh moment to my mind: that felt like a series finale, not a season finale. Medium has been picked up for next season, right?

Twice Medium's featured children getting a finger cut off for punishment. I stand by my original point: there is a seriously fucked up writer running around the Medium showrunner's office. Don't get me started on the cartoon ep. But let's fight this fight in August. For the time being, laud this finale as what it is: damn near perfect.
