great job with the covers, i like the 1st one more with the brighter colors behind the cast, but think the brownish images should be colored like the ones in

im a long time survivor fan; but just recently joined the sucks board...this place is awesome. I wish they had all seasons of survivor seasons on dvd. I have
some of non published seasons like amazon, africa, and marques that i got from ebay a few years ago; but the quaility is really bad and sometimes my dvd player
even has trouble playing them because of frame skips or something.. I wish they would release these seasons on dvd.
I have purchased some of the newer seasons from itunes as i have a computer hooked up to my tv; but must say the quality is still not that of dvd; but is much better than the ones i had gotten from ebay. Since joining this site, i notice there is also a lot more interesting footage that is cut out and which seems not to get even with the dvd versions. Its probably asking to much; but i would like to see a lot more unedited footage in the dvd versions of seasons they have published as well as for future seasons.. For example, with this season of micronesia, the final tribal council was much longer than was shown and included footage of ozzy requesting parv to do some interpretive dance. I also got the feeling there was a lot more that went on at final tc that was not shown. However, i doubt that the new release of the dvd will contain an unedited version of the final tc as none of previous seasons on dvd have unedited versions (and i would of liked to seen the unedited versions of all the final tc of previous seasons). I also think there is in general a lot more unseen footage that would be interesting to watch for people such as myself who are superfans. Anyone, else here wish they would put more unseen footage in the dvds? |

^i agree with you 100%; im sure there is hours and hours of unseen footage that might be interesting. For example, this season when alexis dumped the water
permaturely during the challenge, the arguement between her and jeff lasted 10 minutes- i would of loved to seen that in its entirety. i already mentioned the
ozzy asking parv to do the interpretive dance at final tc being edited out, but i also got the feeling that there was a lot more to the final tc than just the
ozzy thing (parv said the final tc was much longer and more bizzare than it was shown); and then there was parv finding the idle and leaving it on the
island---these are only a couple of examples; but man i think we are missing at least half of whats really going on --if not a lot more.
I could see an unedited version of interesting footage for one season lasting hours upon hours and taking up a dozen plus dvds and i would watch them. |

I sent an email to CBS asking for seasons 1-8 on iTunes about 10 days ago. I've bought 4 of the seasons available on iTunes and would probably buy 4 more
if 1-8 was up there. I received no reply from CBS, and am pretty upset about it.
Survivor sure gets treated pretty terribly by CBS considering it's the premier reality show on television. Perhaps Apple is to blame for seasons 1-8 not being on iTunes though, who knows |
