The next one on this list is one of the most debatable, and ever recent showings, she should be lower... but I stand by her original placing:
8. Parvati Shallow (Survivor: Micronesia)
The self-proclaimed flirt, originally seen on Survivor: Cook Islands has probably improved the most since her original season. Parvati was immediately targetted in Survivor: Micronesia for being a social threat because of her ability to quickly bond with both men and women. Her flirting abilities allowed her to manipulate the men while building little to no emotional attachments to them. She proved this with her flirting with James, in which she told Cirie and Amanda that she "made him no promises." Towards the merge in Micronesia, she was also becoming a power player by having an alliance with Ozzy, James and Amanda, another alliance with Cirie and Amanda and a third alliance with Alexis, Natalie and Amanda. Parvati seemed to be in control of most of the players left in the game, but her triple-dealings set her up for an inevitable fall when she had to backstab Ozzy to get the idol out of the game. Towards the end game, she became quieter and just grew comfortable in her multiple alliances, and remained close with Amanda, but control of the game seemed to go to Cirie. However, as the season finishes tonight, with Parvati in the final 4, we get to see how well she does. If she wins, it was all worth it. Sidenote: Count out how unlikeable she was in Cook Islands because that does not reflect her gameplay in Micronesia. Clue for the next woman: Ohhh...sh*t. |

Perverti hate. I don't mind her being on here, but she should definitely be lower. And yay for what looks like Sandra!
ETA: Ok, she won, though she was still EXTREMELY lucky, so I might bump her down only a couple spots.

This list will become a joke from the second Ken puts Amanda in the top five. And you know he will.

7. Sandra Diaz-Twine (Survivor: Pearl Islands)
This feisty Puerto Rican won Survivor: Pearl Islands against some of the toughest competitors. Sandra famously made it to the end with the "anyone but me" strategy. She also used a lot of different strategies, such as building alliances with the women, double crossing Jonny Fairplay and spying on Fairplay and Burton. In a season where all threats were quickly eliminated by Fairplay and Burton, she did what was absolutely necessary to win in that situation. Sandra remained unthreatening, but quietly strategized with everyone, and although a lot of her strategies weren't out in the open, she got credit at the final tribal council where she won by a 6-1 vote, also thanks to her honest and candid responses. Besides her strategic gameplay, Sandra was also one of the most entertaining women to ever play Survivor and her fiery temper made for a lot of great moments. She was also able to channel her outward emotions into good strategies, when she acted depressed while planning to blindside Burton or starting a screaming match with Fairplay after she threw out all the fish. Sidenote: Not related to strategy, and it probably would have hurt her game, but I loved Sandra's plan to slowly sabotage the camp and hide tools following Christa's elimination. Clues for the next woman on the list: One of the most underrated players ever. |

I have to admit from reading Eliza's thread about how Parvati fucking owned Micronesia's FTC I have new found respect for her.

So it's been a while since I've updated the list, so here is lady #6...
6. Vecepia Towery (Survivor: Marquesas)
The winner of Survivor: Marquesas played an under the radar, yet strategic game that never earns her enough credit. She was in the majority alliance in Maraamu with Sean, Rob and Sarah, and after the switch, she created new bonds with her new tribe. Vecepia's strategy in the beginning of the game was to lay low and avoid the drama, which may not have been good for the show's entertainment value, but it helped her progress in the game. (It also contributed to her invisibility in the first half of the show) Vecepia gets credit for being one of the few winners to win after being in the minority alliance at the merge, but she was a member in the overthrowing of the Rotu 4, along with Sean, Kathy, Paschal and Neleh, and this propelled her into the final 5. At the final 4, she seemed to be doomed, but when she won immunity, she formed a temporary alliance with Kathy to try and advance herself and Kathy to the final 2. And in the final 3, both Vecepia and Kathy were still there, until Kathy was eliminated from the final immunity challenge. Vecepia remains as one of the first people to make a deal during a challenge, and the first survivor to make a deal during the final immunity challenge, where she gave up immunity to Neleh, if Neleh would take her to the final 2. The plan worked, and Vecepia technically didn't betray Kathy, since she never had to vote Kathy out. In the end, Vecepia won by a 4-3 vote, and any winner of Survivor has to get some credit for winning. Clue for the next woman: Even more invisible than Vecepia?? No way! |

I just need to say that I started this list before the Erik boot in Micronesia, and now that the season is over, I would probably have included Natalie in this
list, but towards the bottom due to her early season invisibility.

5. Danni Boatwright (Survivor: Guatemala)
Until Parvati's win in Micronesia, Danni was the only post-All Stars female winner, and in an era of physical challenges and excess twists, this was not an easy feat to accomplish. Not only was Danni the winner in one of the most physically demanding seasons, but she also won despite being in the minority alliance at the merge. Early on in Guatemala, she was quite invisible due to the twist that brought back the Queen Bee turned bitch, Stephenie. And although I think that her "strategizing off camera" was complete BS, it's the only thing I have to work with... So Danni was a master strategist off the cameras, and was apparently responsible for voting Blake out instead of Brian at the tribe switch. After the merge, the rest of her alliance (Brandon, Bobby Jon and Gary) was targetted, and she was left alone with the 5 person alliance of Stephenie, Rafe, Lydia, Cindy and Judd. But Danni knew to look into the future and started building bonds with Rafe and Stephenie and after winning a critical immunity, the seeds of doubt she planted in Stephenie and Rafe caused them to backstab Judd, with Danni getting credit, but taking none of the heat. Because she continued to work her way up from the minority, she was never seen as a backstabber, and she was physically strong enough to win the final immunity challenge, taking the hated Stephenie to the final 2 and winning 6-1. Clue for the next woman: ...You came and you gave without taking. |

How does someone who completely falls apart at the single most important stage of the game rank higher then people who actually...you know...won?
