Substitute the north star for the moon and I've been there. Very sweet to do that Kathy. The whole confidentiality agreement with kids would be tough. But
at this stage in the show, why does it really matter who's going?

Day 1 Wed
I love you Rick and Maddy Day one - 23 hours of travel Chicago - LA 4hrs LA-Hawaii - 5 1/2 hrs plus 2 hour layover Hawaii to Guam - 7 1/2 hrs plus 2 hour layover Guam to Palau - 2 hours Very tired, but can't sleep. Almost cry when I think of you 2. We are living in tents. Only one crappy bathroom and one shower that's just a pipe coming out of the wall with only cold water-no hot. Spiders in shower, toilet is a piece of shit. Weirdly enough, there are only 10 contestants |

Day 2 Thurs
We put our cots on the beach to lay down. Only a little breeze. VERY HOT. Good thing I like it warm. But it's a little too much. Even for me. We are not allowed to speak to each other. That is the hardest part for me. After lunch we have a survival school. I miss you guys so much. Don't want to cry. Back is holding up, a little tight, but okay. Thank you God. 12:40- Raining, but I saw it coming and got my cot in on time.. They just called for lunch. Wish I would have brought that stinkin' hair clip! doh! Am I really here? Is this all really happening? To me, of all people? Mmmmmmm burgers. It was good. 5 guys, 5 girls. Me and Gilligan (Chet) look like we're the oldest ones here. Great, just effin greeaaat. To be Continued................

lol...wow, the letters to your daughter...what a great idea...the back thing sucked...were you kinda hoping the sore back was going to be your ticket outta
going? Some pre-game jitters maybe...? I know I'd be feeling them too...
Love the entries...keep em comin. And hey, are you guys allowed to take sunglasses or is that considered luxury? And what did you think when there were only 10 of you...? Did you EVER consider a fans vs faves scenario?? |

What I told her was :"Everytime you look at the moon, I'll be looking at the same moon and you can say Goodnight mommy, and I will say Goodnight baby". That way we can still "feel" each other, even tho I'm far away.That was really sweet... like tooth decay sweet. I don't know that I could leave my kid especially if asked not to leave and the crying... Gilligan...... :snicker: Was roid-rage there too? |
