it was the last season I had a true connection to, it came back for me a bit in Micronesia though
in between, i didnt care if I missed an episode, stopped taping the episodes, barely came on here and survivor fansites |

Guatemala is my 2nd least favorite season ever, after Thailand. Here's some reasons why I hate it:
1. Horrible cast. Everyone who made the merge was either boring, stupid, unlikable or some combination of the three. 2. Steph and Rafe played one of the worst endgames of all time, leading to an UTR and probably undeserving player winning. 3. All of the attractive women were voted off at the beginning of the season. 4. The only good strategist, Brian Corridan, was also voted off early. 5. Bringing Steph and Bobby Jon back was a stupid twist. 6. Even though I'm really into Mayan ruins and Mayan civilization, I don't think the Mayan theme really made any sense for Survivor. Anyway, I guess the bottom line is I hated the cast, hated the way the game was played (ie. badly), and hated the winner. All in all, that equals a pretty bad season for me. |

While I loved most of it, it was a season where the best characters got booted early, and the last few episodes sort of fizzled.
But when it was good, it was great. |

Almost all of the interesting people left before then (and alot left before jury like Amy, Brian, Margaret, Brandon, case could be made for Blake) but there
were two problems. One with the final 5 being mostly UTR and the fact that those three girls were completely ignored at the start. Until I checked the CBS
site, I forgot what their names were (yet I still remember Jim and his hurt arm).
