Reward Challenge - Bai Bai
<'Evil Tribe' begins to play, as the camera shows an overhead view of a beach and then scrolls around a traditional Micronesian bai, before switching angles to show two disassembled bais. The camera then abruptly cuts ahead to show a close-up view of Jeff standing on the beach>
Jeff Probst: <talking loudly> Come on in, guys! <The camera switches angles to show quick close-up views of several Favorites, as they walk up the beach. Ian, Terry, and Ami can be seen, before the camera zooms out to show all nine Malakal members gathering in a group on their purple tribe mat. The camera now turns back to Jeff again>
Jeff Probst: Favorites, getting your first look at the new Fans tribe: <A wide view of the challenge area is then shown, as the seven Airai members can be seen walking towards their orange mat> Natalie voted out at the last Tribal Council; <There is a prominent sound, as Ami tenses her expression> the first woman to leave this game… <Eliza and Brooke can be seen exchanging glances, before the camera cuts back to the Fans and Joel plunges the orange challenge flag into the sand. Jeff is then shown again>
Jeff Probst: A lot of reactions from the Favorites on that one… <Kathy is now shown raising her eyebrows, as she turns towards the Malakal members and then waves>
Kathy: I'm still here! <Aras is shown staring ahead, before the camera returns to Jeff>
Jeff Probst: Well, we figured after twelve days of competing against each other as Fans and Favorites, <The camera shows a wide view of both tribes> it's time you got to know each another. <Quick views of several castaways with mixed expressions on their faces are shown, before the camera returns to Jeff> Drop your buffs; <short pause> we are switching tribes. <A prominent sound is heard, as 'Forest Flutes' begins to play, and the camera shows an anxious Jason> The tribes of Malakal and Airai, as you knew them, are no more… <Kathy and Alexis are then shown, before the camera scrolls back over to Jeff>
Jeff Probst: Here's how it's gonna work: <Jeff takes a short pause, as he holds up a bag of buffs> inside this bag are nine Malakal buffs, seven Airai buffs. <The camera shows a close-up view of an uneasy Tracy, and then goes back to Jeff> I'm gonna call you up two at a time in order from one through seven, <pause> then numbers eight and nine from the Favorites. <A wide view of all nine Malakal members is shown next> You'll reach in to this bag and pick a buff. <Eliza can then be seen subtly nodding her head> That will be your new tribe, <The camera scrolls over to two blank tribe-colored mats> so the number of tribe members in each tribe will not change; <Ruth Marie, Earl, and Ian are now shown listening intently> only the members within those tribes. <Mikey is shown with a nervous smile on his face>
Jeff Probst: Make sense? <The camera scrolls across several castaways, as they nod>
Mary: Yes… <Joel is heard saying "Makes sense." Another view of Jeff is then shown next>
Jeff Probst: Let's get to it. First two, come on up. <A wide view of both tribes is shown, as Ian and Joel both step forward> The two #1s: <short pause> Joel for Airai <A close-up view of Joel is shown, as he walks over to Jeff> and Ian for Malakal… <The camera now zooms in on Ian>
Ian: I'm the guinea pig… <laughs> <Jeff is now shown holding out the bag of buffs>
Jeff Probst: Reach in and pick a buff. <A quick view of Ian's tribemates is shown, before the camera switches angles to show Ian reaching into the bag and pulling out a new purple buff>
Jeff Probst: Ian is the first member of the new Malakal. <Ian can be seen nodding his head, as Jeff points to the Malakal tribe's empty mat> Have a spot over here on the purple mat. <Joel is then shown reaching into the bag and pulling out a purple buff as well>
Jeff Probst: Joel joins Ian on the new Malakal. <A close-up view of Joel is shown> Put your new buff on. <Joel is shown wrapping his buff around his wrist, as he walks over to Malakal's mat and shakes Ian's hand before hugging him. Ian bulges out his eyes and laughs>
Ian: <to Joel> A little too strong for me there… <laughs> <A few laughs are heard, as the camera shows a view of the Airai members, and then goes back to Jeff again>
Jeff Probst: Okay; <short pause> next two up: <The camera shows a close-up view of the #2 painted on Alexis' shoulder> Alexis and Terry, come on up. <A wide view of the beach area is shown, as Alexis and Terry both walk over to Jeff and 'Rituals' begins to play>
Jeff Probst: Which tribe is fate going to put you on? <Terry can now be seen reaching into the bag and pulling out an orange Airai buff>
Jeff Probst: Terry is the first member of the new Airai tribe. <Jeff points to the orange mat, as Terry walks over to it. Alexis can then be seen reaching into the bag and pulling out a purple Malakal buff, as she turns back to her former Airai tribemates>
Alexis: Miss you… <Mary is shown waving, before the camera scrolls back over to Jeff>
Jeff Probst: Alexis joins Ian and Joel on the Malakal tribe. <The camera cuts ahead to show Alexis joining her tribemates on the purple mat, before she hugs Ian> Say hello to your new tribemate. <Ian says "Welcome," as the camera turns to show another view of Jeff>
Jeff Probst: Next two: <short pause> the two #3s. <Jason can be seen stepping forward for the Fans. The camera then scrolls over to Brooke, as the two castaways walk over to Jeff> Jason and Brooke. <Jeff is now shown holding out the bag of buffs>
Jeff Probst: <to Jason> Reach in and pick your new buff… <Jason is shown with an anxious smile on his face, as he pulls out a new orange buff and says "Oh">
Jeff Probst: Orange for Airai. <A close-up view of Terry standing on the Airai mat is shown, as Jason high-fives him> Jason joins Terry on the Airai tribe. <The camera shows a quick view of a watchful Aras, and then cuts back to Jeff again>
Jeff Probst: Brooke. <Brooke is now shown reaching into the bag and pulling out another Malakal buff> No change. <Brooke nods her head, as pulls the buff around her neck> Still a member of Malakal. <A wide view of Joel, Alexis, and Ian standing on the purple mat is shown, as Brooke joins them and then hugs Alexis. Eliza is now shown with an uneasy expression on her face, before the camera switches angles to show another view of Jeff>
Jeff Probst: Next two: <short pause> Ami for the Favorites, <A wide view of the remaining Favorites is shown, as a smiling Ami steps forward> and Mary for the Fans. <The remaining Airai members are then shown, as Mary and Ami both walk over to Jeff, who is holding out the bag of buffs. Ami then turns back to her original tribemates, before reaching into the bag>
Ami: Wish me luck… <Ami now pulls a new purple Malakal buff out of the bag>
Jeff Probst: Ami joins the new Malakal tribe. <A rapid clip of the four castaways standing on the purple mat is shown, before the camera focuses back in on both Jeff and Mary. Mary can be seen reaching into the bag and pulling out a purple buff as well>
Jeff Probst: Mary, you're now a member of Malakal. <Ami can be seen hugging Alexis and Brooke excitedly> Take a spot on the purple mat next to Ian, Joel, Alexis, Brooke, and Ami. <A wide view of the new Malakal members is then shown, as Mary joins them>
Alexis: <to Mary> Hey girlfriend… <Alexis now hugs Mary, as the camera shows a view of the three remaining Fans, and then cuts back to Jeff again>
Jeff Probst: The two #5s, come on up. <The camera shows the #5 painted on Aras' shoulder, and then zooms out to show him and Tracy stepping forward> Aras for Malakal; <A close-up view of Aras is now shown> Tracy for Airai… <The camera shows another view of Jeff>
Jeff Probst: Tracy, you're up. <Tracy reaches into the bag and quickly pulls out an Airai buff>
Jeff Probst: Tracy stays with the Airai tribe. <Tracy nods her head, as she joins Terry and Jason on the orange tribal mat. Aras then shifts his expression, as he pulls out a purple buff>
Jeff Probst: Look at that. Aras stays with Malakal; <short pause> the new Malakal. <Terry can be seen staring ahead, before he subtly makes eye contact with Aras, who joins his new tribemates on the purple mat. An excited Mary can be seen hugging Aras, before the camera shows Kathy turning her head, and then switches angles to show Jeff>
Jeff Probst: Next two, come on up: <short pause> Earl for the Favorites, <The camera focuses in on Earl, as he walks over to Jeff> and Mikey B for the Fans. <A prominent sound is heard, as Mikey reaches into the bag and pulls out an orange Airai buff>
Mikey: Dang it… <A close-up view of a glaring Tracy is then shown next>
Jeff Probst: Mikey B joins the new Airai tribe. <A wide view of Tracy, Jason, and Terry is shown, as Mikey puts his buff around his neck and then joins his new tribemates>
Mikey: <to Terry> Mikey B… <Mikey can be seen shaking Terry's hand, before the camera shows a close-up view of Joel, and then scrolls back over to Earl and Jeff>
Jeff Probst: Earl, choose your fate. <An eerie sound is heard, as Earl reaches into the bag and pulls an orange Airai buff. Jeff is then shown again>
Jeff Probst: Earl, you're a member of the new Airai. <Earl is shown putting his buff around his head, before the camera cuts ahead to show him greeting Tracy and Jason. The camera shows Kathy standing by herself on Airai's original mat, and then scrolls over to Ruth Marie, Sherea, and Eliza, before switching angles to show another clip of Jeff>
Jeff Probst: The two #7s, come on up. <Kathy says "Yay!" as she walks over to Jeff> Kathy and Ruth Marie… <The camera then turns to show Ruth Marie standing next to Kathy>
Jeff Probst: Ruth Marie is up first. <A close-up view of Ruth Marie is shown, as she reaches into the bag> Reach in and pick a buff… <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the camera shows Ruth Marie pulling out an orange Airai buff. Jeff is then shown again>
Jeff Probst: Ruth Marie, <short pause> you're now a part of Airai. <Kathy can be seen shifting her expression, before the camera cuts back to Ruth Marie> Take a spot on the orange mat with your new tribemates. <Terry is shown with an unimpressed look on his face. The camera then switches angles to show Ruth Marie hugging Tracy. Eliza and Sherea are now shown, before the camera shows Kathy reaching into the bag and pulling out a purple buff>

Jeff Probst: Kathy is going to Malakal… <Jason and Tracy are then shown standing on the new Airai mat, before the camera goes back to Kathy>
Kathy: <sarcastically> Oh, great! <Another view of Jeff is now shown again>
Jeff Probst: …and not too happy about it either. <Kathy says "No," as she walks over to the purple mat and joins her new tribemates. The camera then focuses back in on Jeff>
Jeff Probst: So, <long pause> we have two buffs left: one purple, one orange. <A wide view of the castaways standing on their new tribal mats is now shown> Eliza is #8 for the Favorites. Come on up. <Eliza can now be seen walking towards Jeff and reaching into the bag. A quick clip of Brooke and Ami is shown, before the camera shows Eliza pulling out an orange Airai buff, as 'Asian Epic' begins to play>
Jeff Probst: So Eliza joins the new Airai tribe. <Eliza looks sad for only a second, before putting on a smile and walking over to her new tribemates. Brooke is then shown again>
Brooke: <whispering> Sorry, girl… <The camera now shows Eliza hugging Jason and Mikey>
Eliza: Hey, guys! <laughs> <Sherea is then shown standing alone on Malakal's original mat>
Jeff Probst: Alright; <short pause> Sherea, you're last. <Sherea steps forward> Only one buff left. <A view of the other Malakal members is shown> Your fate has already been determined for you. <Sherea is now shown reaching into the bag and pulling out the final Malakal buff>
Sherea: Purple… <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows Jeff>
Jeff Probst: <to Sherea> You stay with Malakal, but your tribemates are new. <Sherea is then shown walking over to the purple mat, as she turns to the new Airai members>
Sherea: Love y'all… <Sherea now steps onto the Malakal mat and hugs her new tribemates, as the camera continues to focus on the Malakal tribe for a few seconds. A teary-eyed Eliza is then shown, before the camera zooms in on Terry>
Terry: I'm seein' a lot of severed alliances… <The camera now goes back to Jeff
Jeff Probst: Kinda sad, huh, Eliza? <An emotional Eliza is now shown nodding her head>
Eliza: Yeah; <short pause> I'm gonna miss them… <A close-up view of Brooke is shown, as she continues to gaze ahead. Jeff is then shown again>
Jeff Probst: So, <long pause> we are no longer tribes of Fans vs. Favorites. <Quick clips of several castaways from both tribes are shown> We are now Malakal vs. Airai. <'Missionaries' now begins to play, as the camera zooms in on Aras, and then shows a frustrated Terry looking around> Ian, Joel, Alexis, Brooke, Ami, Mary, Aras, Kathy, and Sherea, <Rapid clips of each of the new Malakal members are shown, as Jeff names them> you are the new Malakal tribe. <The camera then focuses on Kathy for a few seconds> You will live at the Favorites' camp… <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows Tracy turning her head>
Jeff Probst: Terry, Jason, Tracy, Mikey B, Earl, Ruth Marie, and Eliza, <The camera scrolls across each of the new Airai members> you are the new Airai tribe. <A wide view of all seven Airai members is shown> You will live at the Fans' camp. <Jason is shown looking down at the ground, before the camera shows an unimpressed Mikey, and then focuses back in on Jeff>
Jeff Probst: Now, <long pause> you guys ready to get to your first challenge as new tribes? <A wide view of both tribes is now shown, as the castaways excitedly nod their heads>
Alexis: Yeah! <The camera shows Mary, Ami, and Brooke, before going back to Jeff>
Jeff Probst: For today's challenge, we are gonna look to the culture of Micronesia for inspiration. <A view of the seven Airai members is shown> Each tribe has pieces to make a Micronesian bai, <The camera then switches angles to show the Malakal tribe's disassembled bai> which is a traditional meeting house. <Eliza is shown listening intently> On my go, five tribe members will carry the pieces 200 yards up the beach. <A clip of several castaways carrying one of the walls is shown> The remaining two members from each tribe will be your architects. <The camera now turns to show the nine Malakal members> Their job is to make sure that your bai gets created exactly as it appears in the model. <Another close-up view of the model bai is shown next> They will not help move the pieces; <short pause> they'll be up at the finish. <A close-up view of Tracy is shown, as she says "That'll be me and you" to Ruth Marie> They can only help you rebuild once all your pieces have been placed inside your circle. <An aerial view of the challenge area is shown, as both tribes bais are shown> You'll also have a collection of Micronesian symbols, <A view of the roof of a bai is shown, as 15 wooden tiles with symbols on them are shown> which you must place in the same positions as they are on the model. <The camera now fades out to show the model bai> First tribe to correctly put together their bai wins Reward. <Jeff is now shown again>
Jeff Probst: Wanna know what you're playin' for? <The camera shows the anxious Airai members, as Eliza dramatically nods, and then scrolls over to the Malakal tribe>
Sherea: Yeah! <Aras is shown, before the camera returns to Jeff>
Jeff Probst: It's a little housewarming gift in the form of a "get-to-know-you picnic." <Jeff removes the cover from a large picnic basket containing various food items, as excited gasps and awes are heard from the castaways. The camera then shows Alexis and Mary smiling>
Alexis: Oh, it's food! <The camera then scrolls over to the new Airai tribe, as Jason claps>
Jason: Come on, baby! <laughs> <A gasping Eliza can be heard saying "A basket of food!">
Jeff Probst: In addition, the winning tribe will choose one member from the losing tribe to go to Exile Island. <Mikey is shown with a subtle smile on his face> That person will then choose one member from the winning tribe to join them. <A clip of Eliza and Ruth Marie is shown, before the camera switches angles to show another view of Jeff>
Jeff Probst: Worth playing for? <The camera scrolls back over to Jason for a few seconds>
Jason: <excitedly> Yes! <Both tribes are shown again, before the camera returns to Jeff>
Jeff Probst: Malakal, you have two extra members. <The camera now shows a view of all nine Malakal members> You're sitting two people out… <Indistinct chatter can be heard among the castaways, before the camera shows a close-up view of Ian>
Ian: Alexis and Kathy are gonna sit out… <The camera abruptly cuts back to Jeff>
Jeff Probst: Kathy and Alexis sitting out. <Alexis and Kathy are both shown nodding their heads> Everybody else, I'll give you a minute to figure out who your two architects are; <short pause> we'll get started. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows an aerial view of the entire challenge area and then scrolls around Malakal's bai, before fading out to show Tracy and Ruth Marie standing on the far end of the beach in front of a model bai>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Alright; <short pause> the architects for the new Airai tribe are Tracy and Ruth Marie. <The camera continues to focus on the two older women> The architects for the new Malakal tribe, Brooke and Mary. <A clip of both Mary and Brooke is then shown>
Jeff Probst: <talking loudly> Here we go! <The camera turns back to Jeff, as he raises his arm> For Reward! <A wide view of the other castaways at the starting line is shown> Survivors ready?! <Jeff is then shown lowering his arm> GO! <'Cooks Immunity' begins to play, as the camera shows the castaways from both tribes quickly racing forward and picking up their first section of wall. Indistinct shouting is heard, as the camera focuses in on the Airai tribe>
Terry: Lift it up… <A side view of the Malakal members carrying a heavy section of wall with their symbols stacked in three piles on it is shown>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Both tribes starting on their wall! <The camera switches angles to show a front view of the Malakal members> Malakal with a good strategy to save time; <short pause> they stacked their symbols on top! <The camera cuts ahead to show Airai arriving at the other end of the beach and dropping their first section of wall into the orange circle>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Airai has their first section of wall! <Tracy can be heard saying "Good job," as the camera shows the five castaways racing back down the beach. A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the Malakal members arrive at their purple circle and set the wall down>
Joel: <talking loudly> Let's go! <Brooke and Mary are both shown clapping and cheering>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Malakal now has their first section of wall and all 15 symbols! <The camera cuts back to Airai, as Eliza stacks the symbol tiles onto another section of Airai's wall>
Eliza: Just keep it steady or they'll fall… <An overhead view of the challenge area is now shown, as both tribes can be seen carrying another section of wall up the beach>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Both tribes gotta go back up 200 yards to the finish! <A front view of the tiring Airai members is shown> These pieces are heavy! <The camera now focuses in on Jason, who is carrying one corner of the wall. The camera now turns back to Malakal, as they can be seen passing Airai with their second section of wall>
Jeff Probst: <narration> This time Malakal back first with another section of wall! <The five castaways can be seen dropping the wooden wall into their purple circle and then racing back to the start, as the camera switches angles to show Airai arriving with their next wall>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Airai right behind! They've got their fifteen symbols now too! <Another aerial view of the beach is shown, as both tribes continue to run back> You're dead even! <Quick clips of both tribes picking up their next wall section is shown, before the camera continues to focus on Airai and they stack the section of wall onto the remaining piece. Jason and Mikey are then shown trying to lift one corner>
Jason: Is that too heavy? <A view of Eliza is shown, as she says something inaudible>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Airai tryin' to stack their last two sections of the wall, <The Malakal members are now shown looking back, as they carry their third wall> that way they only have to come back for the roof. <Another clip of the five Airai members is shown>
Eliza: I got it. Let's go! <The camera shows Mikey carrying one of the corners, and then abruptly cuts back to the Malakal members>
Joel: They can't carry that the whole way… <Aras can be heard saying "There's no way," as the camera switches to another overhead view of the challenge area>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Slow-going for Airai, trying to carry two heavy pieces… <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows a close-up view of an exhausted Eliza>
Eliza: Can we set it down for a second? <A close-up view of Terry is then shown>
Terry: <to Eliza> Just let go and give your hands a rest. <Eliza asks "You got it?" as the camera cuts ahead to show the Malakal members arriving at their purple circle again>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Malakal back with their third section of wall! <Brooke is now shown>
Brooke: <talking loudly> Drop it! <A side view of the Airai members carrying their last two wall pieces is shown, as the Malakal members can be seen racing back in the distance>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Airai picking up some speed now! <Jason is shown adjusting the position of his hands, as Terry says "Lift it higher"> They're almost there! <The camera switches angles to show the five Airai members arriving at their orange circle>
Tracy: Just set it down there… <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the castaways drop their last two wall sections and then begin to run back down the bridge>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Airai is just looking for their two sections of roof! <The camera now scrolls over to the worn-out Malakal members, as they carry their final wall section>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Malakal comin' back with their fourth section of wall! <Aras can be heard saying "We got this"> Then they need to get their two roof pieces. <A clip of Eliza, Earl, and Jason lifting up one section of the roof is shown, before the camera scrolls over to Terry and Mikey, who are carrying the other half>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Airai with a good strategy! <The camera shows the Malakal members dropping their fourth section of wall into their purple circle, as Mary and Brooke cheer>
Mary: Hustle! You guys can do this! <The Malakal members now race back down the beach, before the camera shows an aerial view of the challenge area and the two groups of Airai members get closer and closer to their orange circle again>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Airai is very close to having all of their pieces in the circle! <Ruth Marie and Tracy are both shown clapping, before the camera turns back to the other Airai members and they arrive at the end with their roof pieces>
Tracy: Put it down! <Terry and Mikey, and Eliza, Jason, and Earl both drop their roof pieces>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Airai, start building! <The camera continues to focus on the Airai members, as they pick up the first section of wall again>
Tracy: Bring it back this way… <Ruth Marie is then shown glancing over at the model>
Ruth Marie: Turn it. <A wide view of the seven Airai members is shown, as they continue to assemble their bai. The camera now cuts back to the Malakal members, who are carrying the two roof sections in two groups as well>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Here comes Malakal now! <Ruth Marie and Tracy are both shown>
Ruth Marie: Let's do the roof. <A wide view of both tribes is shown, as the Malakal members arrive at their purple circle and drop their roof pieces down>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Malakal, go! <The music becomes more dramatic, as the camera shows both tribes working on their bais and indistinct shouting can be heard> Two new tribes battling it out… <The camera now shows a close-up view of Tracy>
Tracy: This goes over here. <Earl can be heard saying "Check the symbols">
Jeff Probst: <narration> It's gonna come down to which tribe can assemble this bai the fastest.
Brooke: Move this one! <The camera focuses on the Malakal members for a few seconds>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Architects, you can help build, <A clip of Mary is shown, as she drags one of the roof sections> but it is your job to make sure that your tribe's bai matches the model. <A close-up view of the model bai is shown, before the camera scrolls back over to the Airai tribe> Everything, including the symbols, must be exact! <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows Mikey incorrectly placing two similar symbol tiles onto the roof>
Eliza: Quick! Quick! Quick! We can get this! <The camera shows the excited Airai members frantically placing their symbols down, and then glancing over at the model>
Jason: Are we done? <Tracy says "Look," before Terry can be heard calling Jeff over>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Airai thinks they have it! <Jeff is now shown examining Airai's bai for a few seconds, before the camera zooms in on the two reversed symbols> No, you're wrong! <A rapid clip of the Malakal members is then shown, as they place the roof sections onto the top of the four walls. The Airai members are now shown again>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Big Reward on the line! Exile Island looms! <A view of Earl is shown>
Earl: Check over everything… <A close-up view of both Mikey and Terry is shown next>
Jeff Probst: <narration> Airai thought they had it! <Rapid clips of both tribes are shown, as Malakal continues to assemble their bai, while Airai checks theirs over> They were wrong! <A view of the Malakal tribe's roof platform is now shown, as they place their last few symbols>
Ian: Jeff… <Jeff is now shown jogging over to Malakal to examine their bai. He checks over each of the symbols, before the camera zooms out to show the seven tribe members>
Jeff Probst: <shouting> Malakal wins Reward! <A victory theme begins to play, as the camera shows the Malakal members hugging and cheering excitedly. A close-up view of Alexis, Brooke, and Joel is now shown, as Alexis raises her arms happily and cheers>
Alexis: Finally! Finally! <The camera then switches angles to show the defeated Airai members with somber expressions on their faces. Terry is shown looking frustrated, before the camera scrolls over to Jason and Tracy, who both look disappointed>
Tracy: I don't get it… <The camera now shows Jeff walking back over to the Airai tribe>

Jeff Probst: Alright; <short pause> Malakal wins the first challenge as new tribes. <A wide view of the clapping Malakal members is shown> Nice work! <The camera goes back to Jeff>
Jeff Probst: You will now send one person from the new Airai tribe to Exile Island. <Mikey can be seen turning towards the Airai members, as indistinct chatter can be heard> Who's it gonna be? <A close-up view of Ian is then shown next, as the Malakal members continue to huddle>
Ian: <whispering> I say Earl… <The camera now scrolls over to a thoughtful-looking Aras>
Aras: Sending Terry or Jason would weaken them the most… <Kathy and Alexis say "Jason">
Jeff Probst: Who's going to Exile Island, Alexis? <The camera now turns to Alexis>
Alexis: We're sending Jason. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows an unfazed Jason staring ahead and subtly nodding his head>
Jason: I wanted that… <Another close-up view of Jeff is then shown again>
Jeff Probst: Jason, <short pause> choose one person to join you from the new Malakal. <A rapid view of the entire Malakal tribe is shown, before the camera turns back to Jason>
Jason: Um, I'm gonna pick Ian. <Ian is then shown nodding, as he says "Okay">
Jeff Probst: You will return in time for the next Immunity Challenge. <Jason and Ian can both be seen stepping forward, as their tribemates wave to them> Straight out this way. <Jeff now points to the right, as the camera continues to focus on him for a few seconds>
Jeff Probst: Malakal, congratulations on another win. <A smiling Ami claps and says "Woohoo!" before the camera zooms out to show all eight castaways> Big Reward to celebrate. <The camera then shows the large picnic basket, as a few cheers are heard. Jeff is shown again>
Jeff Probst: Airai, <Jeff pauses, as the camera shows the six disappointed Airai members again> once again, I got nothin' for you. <A close-up view of Eliza is then shown>
Jeff Probst: Grab your stuff; <short pause> head on out to your new homes. <Aras, Sherea, and Mary are now shown> Get to know each other… <The camera shows the still-celebratory Malakal members grabbing their Reward basket, before fading out to show quick clips of the defeated Airai members walking out of the challenge area. The screen then fades out>
