they arent 2 for 12, they are 2 for 25. i just bought them. im glad i waited to buy them. i just got 4 seasons for 50 bucks. awesome

They should just release all the seasons on DVD. They've already got the episodes all made out. How hard could it be to arrange it?

Anyone who sells ripped copies always sends them in lil slip covers...I've never seen any that go to the effort to make any other sort of packaging...
which is why it SUCKS that they aren't being released...I want fancy packages and clear pictures!! NOW!! These burnt versions aren't worth a damn... |

go to ioffer.com, if CBS won't release them it's only fair. Some even have the morning show interview after each ep that the CBS versions
didn't have.

I wouldn't even care that much about the DVD's coming out if it weren't for the audio commentaries, which are really the only reason the sets
interest me. Between iTunes, my own VCR recordings, the CBS website and downloading torrents, it's not like if I wanna watch a specific episode badly
enough it's all that hard to get a copy of it. And with the exception of the All-Stars set, there's not really any other special features anyways.
Have any of you guys ever heard of this site: http://www.rifftrax.com/? It's from the guys who did that "Mystery Science Theater 3000" show. Basically what they do is record audio commentaries for movies and television shows that people can download and then sync-up with their own copies of the movie or show. I SO wish that somebody would start rounding up Survivor alums and do this - record some commentaries for a few episodes and then make them available for the fans to download and watch with their own recorded/downloaded /streaming episodes. If somebody were to set-up a website and start doing this, they'd probably make a nice chunk of change off of the rabid fans like us. I know I'd buy 'em! I wonder if there'd be any copyright issues involved with somebody doing this - if the episodes themselves weren't being made available to download, but rather just some of the Survivors sitting around talking about them. |

that pisses me off! i was watching the amazon and got to dave's boot episode and all of the sudden they just stopped working! then i started watching marquesas and i watched the first episode, but i went to watch the second and they don't work anymore either, nor does thailand, exile, or cook! |
