After reading some of these replies, I expected much worse. After "Oh say can you see", it was not that bad! Give him a break, the poor guy is
probably exhausted. He hit those high notes with power and strength.

Cammie, thanks for both the interviews. I watched last night and I didn't think he did that bad. Had to be nerve racking with that crowd. To bad the
Celtics lost not a huge Laker fan.

My beloved Cookie didn't "suck"....anyone with an ounce of vocal training (I have two degrees in music) can tell you that his voice was tired!
True, it was not his best performance but it wasn't that bad considering his voice was almost GONE!
