I wonder if the doctors that did the procedure watched the episode last night? I wonder what they think of jon and kate? lol.

I think there is a lot of hitting going on, they are just use to it.
One of the girls( I think Alexis) hit one of the boys and when he hit her back she looks and says, "We don't hit." Question is Kevin Kate's brother then? Funny how laid back in his parenting he is then. You could tell he wanted to have fun with 12 kid (cheaper by the dozen) I think he kind of fears Kate - Should we rinse these? Where? Most babysitters would just do their own thing. They probably didn't want a phone call after watching 12 vomiting kids for 3 days. " WHO DIDN'T WASH AND SANITIZE THE POTTIES!!" I do love this show. |

Yes, Kevin is Kate's older brother.

I think both kevin and jodi are laid back parents althouhg jodi gave him a little attiitude about washing the kids hands and faces. She wasnt even close to being as rude about it as kate would have been though. |

Didn't Kate say she dumps all the potties in one and then empties it? Potty patrol alone must take up lots of time.

Why are 3 year olds still using potties? Isn't that kind of old?

One other thing that always drives me nuts is Kate's accent during the intro. At the very end she says, "This is ARE life!" instead of
pronouncing it, "OUR", like it's supposed to be. Grr.

Kate sounds just like Ellen Degeneres.

I could totally see Kate in a grouchy mood and removing the staples a little more roughly than necessary. Kudos to Jon for maintaining composure (pretty much)
during the staple removal process since the kids were sitting right there at the table with them.

I don't think she was unnecessarily rough. I've had to remove those staples--bigger ones than that-- in a veterinary setting and the fur and skin do
grow over them making it very painful for removal.

They were on the Today Show this morning promoting their new special. Earlier they did a story on a couple who split all things they do in half so they feel
equal in their relationship. They asked John and Kate if things were equal in their house and Kate popped up and said they do everything 50/50. Now I have
not watched the whole series, but it seems like the times I have watched it Kate has this support team of people helping her, and if John is around she shoves
the kids on him to handle. Like when they were buying the "big kid beds" and she couldnt handle watching the kids AND making the choice. So to the
poeple who watch the show, do you think they split all they do 50/50?

Also, Jon should have taken the pills at least a half hour before she started the procedure considering how long it took for the pills to take effect last
time.

I love Jon and the kids, Kate, not so much! And that is understating it, cause she ticks me off at least once in every show!
The kids, Jon, Aunt Jody and others make up for it though! |

If the kids are four, there most likely will be only one more year of taping if that. I doubt they will still tape when all the kids are in school?!?!? That
would be too much of a distraction. I mean having to help all eight kids with learning etc will be time consuming.

I think they could still have plenty of footage if they concentrated on evenings, weekends, vacations and holidays. And I bet they could shoot at school at
least once in a while, if the school was cooperative. Heck, this show could make an hour-long episode out of doing homework.

Kate mentioned once that she was going to home school the little ones, but I'm not sure whether she meant while they were preschool age, kindergarten, or
older.
