I don't get those FJ guesses at all. Only 3 movies - so it's got to be somebody that died early, James Dean was the only possibility unless you went
way back and guessed maybe Jean Harlow, but I'm pretty sure she made more than 3. Jimmy Stewart and Orson Welles??????

Board was very, very easy tonight IMO.Was just coming on to say the exact same thing. I don't claim to be a knowledgable Jeopardy fiend but last night I pwned about 70% of the questions which is a high for me. The regular round of Jeopardy was ridiculous in some categories. I am no movie buff and really couldn't name any of the top actors on the AFI list w/ certainty but I pulled James Dean out of my ass and made an educated guess and was shockingly and excitably correct. So..the champ's out. Anyone care? She was knowledgable in a lot of different things so I didn't mind her winning (her wins were not flukes) but in terms of not looking like a psycho about to go on a murdering spree, I think the new champ is easier on the eyes. |

I was multi tasking last night while watching Jeopardy so I missed some of the questions but when it came to FJ I thought I heard the question right til the
answer was announced as 'one.' Did the question say alphabetically BACKWARDS? I didn't hear the backwards part but clearly E comes before O and N
in the alphabet so I am inclined to think that I missed that part of the question.

It was something like "the only whole number that is spelled in reverse alphabetical order." It was definitely described as "reverse
alphabetical."
One was like a duh answer. I can't believe two of them missed it. Eleven??? A ton??? |

That's what I figured and yeah, really easy considering people obviously start w/ zero and work their way up and the answer is freaking ONE. It would be
harder if it was some number like thirty given the time limit.

I guessed MLK. I thought I was right but at least it is a better answer than President's Day.

I didn't even try w/ the FJ b/c I am not ashamed to admit I don't know the 10 federal holidays from non federal ones (I know a few for certain like MLK
day but definitely not all 10). If I saw a list, I might have produced the answer but I was uncertain as to what was what so I didn't venture a guess.
Some of those categories in the 1st round were ridiculously easy. Hershey's vs. Nestle? A 1st grader could have answered the highest amount Q having to do w/ Crunch bar/Krackel bar. |

I knew Columbus Day because a) we never take it off at my office and b) we never had it off at my private school.
All the others I've always had off every stage in life... I thought the dude who won was a bit creepy |

I was really surprised it was Columbus Day. My mom works at a bank, so she knew what all the holidays were, but around here, EVERYONE gets Columbus Day off.
Schools, most businesses, everyone. I even got it off at my old shit hole job. Never got Presidents Day or MLK off though. Or Veterans Day, but I knew that
wasn't the answer.

I knew it was Columbus Day for that reason too...we never get it off at school, and most offices around here don't either.
Creepy Donna made it on the Soup this weekend! Joel had her clip of the Howdy Doody story for "Hey, good story Jeopardy contestant!" |
