So did all the Boston fans get together and decide "hey, I don't think we've been big enough pricks lately"?

Boston could win ten championships in all of the sports, all in a row, and it would still remain a corrupt racist shithole of a city.

Did we run out of room in the sports threads for the Boston hate that we had to start a new thread for it?

Lloyd Bonafide is a dumbass
What I don't understand is why Boston fans get hated on so much. Our "big 3" teams are the best franchises in any sport, and we simply acknowledge that. These other fans are a bunch of whiny little pussies. I lost all respect for them after the overblown spygate incident |

You've got to give them credit. They were right about what busing would do to the public schools. So when they were rocking buses full of African American kids and shouting n***** go home they were just saying that busing was a flawed concept? |

Yeah, I ran out of this thread at like 6:30 on my way home.
It's nice to see only a couple of examples of citywide dominance out there by cities that have up to two teams in each league. When will the Boston superiority over the other teams in their conference/league stop? |

For cities with single sports teams, 1980 Philly wins.

Christ! The Celtics have established themselves as the greatest sports dynasty in sports history winning their 17th championship.
When will the Boston sports domination end? |

Sooner than you think.
Age could be an issue with the Celtics next year. Bruins aren't there yet. So this fall, you have the Sox and maybe the Pats. But after this fall? 2 out of 3 is still a great year. Doesn't happen often. |

I wonder if the Pats are in for a big letdown this year. They've lost a number of key players off their defense (Samuels, Gay, Seau, et al) and, while they
resigned Moss, they lost Stallworth on offense. Could be a tough year.

Well thankfully the AFC East is still pretty sucky.

I'm only glad the Celtics won because I didn't want the fucking rapist Kobe Bryant winning.
And yet Boston still is a town full of jackasses that think they are amazing and fans of their teams are jackasses. The Patriots choked after 18-0 all year and morons like ABart STILL think they are some great team. In the fall, we'll see if Boston can keep up their so-called dominance. NY took the Super Bowl, Boston took the NBA championship, and the Yankees will claim the world series in the fall for NY. |

The Yankees have woken up now that it's June. That shit is like clockwork. It might be nice for once if they didn't sleep through the first 2 months of
the season.

Losing an innings eater like Wang until September crushed the Yankees' chances. They might have been able to make do if they still had a solid bridge
between starter and closer, but being forced to bring up a minor leaguer and only being able to count on for 5 innings or so every 5 days will slowly kill
their bullpen (when combined with the rest of their shaky rotation).
But with Hair trigger Hank running the ship, look for him to foolishly mortgage the Yankees' future to pick up a rent-a-pitcher by the trading deadline to try to stop the bleeding. |

The Celtics have established themselves as the greatest sports dynasty in sports history winning their 17th championship. The Yankees won their 17th championship in 1956, so the Celts are only 52 years behind and playing a minor sport. |
