Fiji, on the other hand, started terribly but ended really nicely (by "end" I mean the next 2/3 of the episodes) and I considered it a rather good season, to be honest. 9th out of the 14 seasons (Survivor: Borneo to Survivor: Fiji) so far... Definitely not in my tier of horrible seasons (Africa-Vanuatu-Thailand-AllStars)

(I only rank Richard higher because of his appearance in All-Stars). Vanuatu was awesome because it seemed like for once, we had a season with people who were actually trying to win the game, rather than pussy their way to the end. It was also the last real time where we had women (aside from Cirie), that really took control and had a good chance of winning the game. Everyone in the final 6 could've easily won the game, so it wasn't unbalanced like where Thailand was all about who was least hated. It wasn't all about who Tom would take to the end as his goat. It wasn't a crappy feel-good ending where half the final 4 were completely ignored. You can dislike them all you want, but Ami played balls to the wall, Julie was under-the-radar, but she played strong and was responsible for the women being in such a good position to begin with, Eliza was and underdog the entire game and always escaped, Scout, like her or hate her, got to the final 3 even with her bum knee and she was a great player, as was Twila, despite her poor social game. And Chris was just a better player than them all.

Had Julie, Eliza, LeAnn and Ami made the Final 4 and Chris, Twila and Scout being eliminated in their place, Vanuatu would probably be a real good season. But all in all, because of what happened, I felt Vanuatu was one of those rare seasons where I really didn't feel like continuing to watch on.

There's so many wrong things you said there but I'll just say that season had 1 of the worst pre-merges ever and the girl power was a joke by the end of the season

Granted I'm a Romber fan but I've always thought it was an excellent season but people hate it because of who made the final two. All-Stars sucked because people like Lex and Jenna L. had massive chips on their shoulders and voted out some of the best players and biggest characters early on, leaving us with a cast of second, third, or in the case of Jenna/Amber, fourth tier All-Stars. Add to that the fact that people were stupid enough to blindly follow Romber, sabotaging their own games because of it, and it was a lousy season.

Because I never felt that way and I would like to know. I can't remember a specific incident but I believe his disposition especially after Ami's alliance crumbled came across as cocky and arrogant to me. Sure, he was a good player but there was no need for that. Same thing for ASS Rob M which made it so much more unbearable to watch than it already was.

Difficult to remember what happened except a lot of blindsides. No character development whatsoever. China was just okay at best. Kind of boring. Fiji's pre merge blew, and post merge was okay. Cook Islands had a lot of good moments and bad moments. Exile Island was good. Don't get the Terry hate here. Cirie acted like an ass in this season just like she did in Micronesia at times. But she was more tolerable in this season cause of her happier attitude. Guatamala had a lot of good moments but was boring at the end. Palau was pretty good, it was definitely a more memorable classic/epic season than Cook Islands was. Vanuatu was okay. Both pre merge and post merge were decent (don't get the hate for either). All-Stars was very entertaining with Rob Mariano running his mouth. He was like another Fairplay. How couldn't you like him? Pearl Islands had Rupert and Fairplay and was definitely a good season. Amazon was only entertaining cause of Rob, not much of note other than that. Thailand didn't have much. Ghandia was good. Brian's gameplay was interesting. Clay wasn't that despicable, and I didn't get the Jan hate of him because she was so stupid, thus how could she know if she hated him or not? Marquesas was fun cause of Rob and Sean (mostly). Pretty good season. Africa was a meh season. It was pretty relaxing to watch cause of all the rewards where they experienced Africa, other than that, not much. Australia is a bit overrated. The characters aren't as good as you think, but the hardship episodes were interesting. Borneo had the entertaining Richard. One of the better seasons for sure.

It's so overrated just because it was the first season Outback started off better than Borneo but it got really slow after Jerri got voted out. I didn't like to see them suffering but that's what makes Survivor Africa is the worst season next to Borneo. The conditions looked more dirty and horrible than Outback. The players and viewers alike suffered. Glad it introduced the swap but the whole thing flopped. Didn't find myself caring for anyone Marquesas had Rob and Sean and it was interesting to see Vecepia come out of nowhere and win the whole thing. I never had as much Kathy love as other people and I did find the merge tedious but it had a nice underdog story Thailand is sort of underrated. I admit the cast wasn't that great and the merge was predictable but there was a lot of character development and you it had an underdog story for anyone rooting for the old folks. Brian was a one of a kind winner and probably our most evil winner ever Amazon is definitely one of the best seasons. It's very underrated here but the story was classic and the game was unpredictable. Two thumbs up for the surprise victory from Jenna and the girls beating the guys in a rough environment Pearl Islands is one of the most overrated seasons. I never liked Rupert and I don't understand why he was so popular. Fairplay was just unlikable and I just didn't find myself rooting for any of the people. I do think the unpredictable game was great though so it is a good season still All Stars is the second best season. I don't care how disappointed people were they cannot tell me that they weren't eager to see what was going to happen. All the Survivors we knew and loved were back. No one knew what to expect besides the spoiled but everyone knew that this was a game for the ages. There were so many things that happened that I didn't imagine would occur like Rob and Amber having a showmance and then marriage or the winners dropping like flies. This season had it all and people cared about what happened Vanuatu was very boring and I just couldn't get into this. Maybe it was because it followed such a grand season like All Stars but my heart and interest in Survivor took a big beating with this season. I found so many of the characters irritating and they just weren't my kind of people. It just seemed like they were trying to do Amazon again and they couldn't regain that same greatness Palau was really boring with the Ulonging but it brought something new to Survivor. I was glad a guy like Tom could win it instead of someone worthless like Katie. Really could not get into the characters though. I felt like Survivor is just going through the motions. The premiere, the schoolyard pick, and the large cast made this stand out compared to other seasons though Guatemala had another boring cast but having returning players brought something new. I didn't think Bobby Jon deserved to be back but seeing Steph again was okay. Then I totally saw that other side of her. Despite the horrible environment and the mild characters I thought the game was unpredictable especially the ending. Judd was not mild but I didn't like him Exile Island was the best season and I think it will stay on top. This had the best tribe in Survivor history and introduced the hidden immunity idol, exile island, and Cirie ownage! I thought Casaya was such a funny and original tribe and the rivalry between Terry and Aras was a great story. I was really happy to see 4 tribes because that was different and splitting it between ages and genders was really interesting. I hope they keep doing that in the future Cook Islands probably had the best comeback story ever and I really liked so many people this season and there were such great characters like Jonathan and Parvati. The location was beautiful and I think I enjoyed the challenges the most this season than any other. The race tribes was very interesting to watch. I think it got slow after Jonathan was voted off and I felt mixed about the final 3 twist Fiji was an average season. The underdog have-not story was really forced on us but I admit that I felt bad for that tribe so it worked. There were plenty of strong characters this season as I really didn't like certain people and was rooting for others. It started off good then got really bad for the middle of the season. However once the merge and idols started coming into play then the season blew up and was very fun to watch. It definitely made history with the car deal and I hated it but like Ulong it was a big Survivor moment. I enjoyed the jury the most China was such an excellent season. Nothing could beat the location and culture in this and it felt so different and like a new Survivor. I think the kidnapping thing was a great twist and the usual idol and swaps made for an exciting game. I really liked this cast especially Jean-Robert, Courtney, and Todd. It did get more boring towards the middle and end but I think it had one of the best pre-merges ever Fans vs Favorites was a very good season. I think it would be better than all-stars if the whole cast were all-stars. I thought all the Favorites were boring but maybe that is what made this season so good. The idols and mistakes made such an unexpected season and like all-stars I was constantly wondering what was going to happen. I was so angry when the final 3 went back to final 2 because Cirie was robbed so that is what made this less great than it could have been
