Honestly who cares about this subject? We're arguing over a little bit of skin. If your mother and father want you to be cut as a baby, so be it, if they
don't they oh well no big deal. If it's really a huge issue to you when you're older then you can get it done and if you already had it done, well
then it sucks to be you. There are more important things in life then some superficial topic such as this.

Well, apparently Vyv (may I call you Vyv?), this is a subject that is, in fact, of extreme importance to some posters. But you have a very good point. This is Sucks Off Topic, and we should stick to discussing only things with great impact on the world, such as alternative fuels, the war in Iraq, and personalized license plates. |

Yes you can call me Vyv if your heart desires. And this forum should only hold important matters, as you suggested. God only knows what I would do without the
importantance of "Why paeple L I E about their age"

Then why is Aids so prevalent among heterosexuals in Africa?I read in a medical journal where circumcision actually lowers HIV/STD rates because the foreskin isn't there to hold the bacteria/virus in.That study has since been debunked--kinda. Basically all they did was take a group of people and then test them for HIV and then checked to see whether or not they were circumcised. While HIV rates were higher among uncircumsised men, you can't necessarily infer that circumcision is the reason that those men had a higher case of HIV in that sampling. (And other studies have since had conflicting data...) |

Causes an increase in incidence of Penile Cancer. No, Jakob. The exact opposite is true. Cut guys have a much lower risk of penile cancer. Thankfully, penile cancer in general is still pretty damn rare. The most horrible, terrifying word in the English language is PENECTOMY. Actually, it's a terrifying word in any language, though some accents can make it sound funny. I don't care what anyone does with their squalling infant brat. But I'm not into playing peekaboo with a penis. It really just ruins the mood. Oops! Where'd he go? Oh! There he is! Peekaboo, I see you! Whoopsie! He's gone again. |

Cut guys have a much lower risk of penile cancer.I wonder if this has to do with HPV. Women whose partners are cut also have a lower risk of having HPV...at least in parts of the world where circumcision is relatively rare. |

Yes, Gup. HPV is a contributing factor to increased risk of penile cancer.
The foreskin most certainly does trap viruses and bacteria against the delicate surface tissue of the glans, as well as the meatus (a fun word for a body opening, in this case, the male pee-hole). While proper hygiene will reduce risk of viruses and bacteria causing problems, an uncut dick generally has a longer contact/exposure period. Also, the moist environment allows longevity for the nasty germies and a good place to replicate (fungus and bacteria, not viruses, which replicate only inside a living cell). It's common for a dude to crash out after sex -- washing up isn't always a priority. With a moist, dark foreskin covering the head of the penis, bacteria can multiply faster -- more bacteria, more chance they'll cause an infection. In rare cases of massive fungal growth, delicious bread can be made at home the next day with the resulting yeast mixture. But personally, I'd rather just pop a Thomas' English Muffin into the toaster. |

When an uncut man has a stiffy it is hard to tell that he is uncut. Also, he can put a condom on just like anyone else. Also, if he is clean, there's no
smell. I've given oral to two guys with foreskins and there was no smell.

Penile cancer is very rare. So rare, that more men get breast cancer than get penile cancer. More women get vulval cancer than men get penile cancer, but we don't cut women's labia off just in case. Circumcised or not, hygiene matters. Women can trap a whole lot more nasty stuff down there, but we don't cut parts of them off in case they don't wash or in case they sleep around without condoms. And it's not just "a little bit of skin". It's actually the most sensitive part of a man's penis (if it hasn't been cut off that
is).
Both of those sound ridiculous today I know, but if you don't believe me, then check out this link for what physicians were saying at the time:
Over a hundred years later, circumcised men keep looking for new ways to defend the practice. |

Why is a man who licks and penetrates buttholes so concerned about a dirty lil foreskin?
That said, uncut is nasty and all uncut people should be doused in kerosene and deported to Cleveland. |

Over here, if you're not circumcised by the age of 13, you'll be laughed at. Some would even be frightened. It's already part of the culture, and I
really just don't care enough overall. =\

The spread of Aids in Africa versus the spread in the US is so drastically different that I'd really like to understand the difference. If it's education then are gay men in the US not getting the message? A male getting Aids from a female is extremely difficult, how are hetero African males getting the disease?Pahrump Mania wrote:You are aware that there are such things as sex education and protected sex, right? |
