Damn..was that close! Nothing against the lady in the middle but hope Aaron can pull out a win tomorrow and continue his winning streak. As I said above..the
show is just better when there is someone to root for and some suspense over whether a champ will be de-throned.

she'll last 1 day!! and, I've lived in S California and never remember any team training on Catalina Island but as soon as he said Wrigley I knew it was the Cubs had to google it.. in 1921!! the pitchers and catchers traveled to the Island and the rest of the team followed the next year..continued thru 1951 except for some war years....now who the hell would know this?

I am so pissed that Aaron lost..now back to most likely one day champs. Even if you don't like the champ, a multi day winner makes the show better b/c you
then turn in to root for he/she to lose. It just really enhances the show.
I didn't care for the new winner so I'd rather her lose come Monday than win even if it means as I said above, another one day champ. I didn't even take a stab at the FJ considering I know next to nothing about baseball. I could probably name 10 teams..less if you ask for the city with them. |

in my house, someone knew that wrigley owned Catalina. I knew Wrigley owned the Cubs. it was a tag team effort. otherwise, that was a really hard FJ

Yeah, Aaron sounds gay but he's adorable! Is he straight?
And every time my brother comes home after skateboarding and I'm in the living room watching, while he's at the door, I'd go, "There goes Aaron again... LOOK!" and we would both laugh when he'd turn his head. Aaron <3 |

Aw, I liked Aaron. I think he made enough to be in the tournament of champions though. And that final was sucky - I would have wagered a ton on the category
- baseball being one of my stronger categories, but I think you had to be from Chicago and a loooong time Cubs fan to know that one.

anyone else catch the betting on fg last night...new champ was beat by a dollar?? the lady that won didn't bet all her money so, the champ could not have
known how much to bet to beat her?? I have short term memory loss I guess...
should always just bet it all to be sure.... |

No, the champ bet to beat an all in bet by the contestant in second place, his total would have been one dollar higher than the doubled amount of the
contestant in second place. The contestant in third place calculated this and bet to beat the champ by a dollar if the champ missed. Both the champ and
second place miss FJ and third place got it. Thus the win.
