Dan & Steve - Next Food Netowkr Star 1




In the immortal words of Kent Blackwelder, "It used to be sickos, weirdos and freaks but now it's alternative lifestyle and it's not cool to not think that's cool. But don't throw it in my face and tell me it's normal!" And when saying that he was referring to chefs on television. However the same could be said of gay relationships. Both of which are pertinant to this entry. You see, Dan and Steve were a gay couple who treaded new territory in even being on the show. It was a interesting twist in having them there competing as a duo (the only duo to be on the show then and since) but them winning I feel was a tad too far and Food network was just trying to be hip and trendy by giving them a show. They went on to have the worst named program in television history in Party Line with the Heart Boys, which sounds like a porno. And they haven't been heard from since.

Kalan Porter - Canadian Idol 2




The winner of one of the best seasons in the history of reality tv, is in the lower bracket of the list. It's a shame really, but two things factor into it. One is that the talent was so high, as most people say, it's the best Idol season of all time. And for the fangirl choice who was just marginally decent to win the whole show was quite a letdown. Add on to that the fact that his fans are completely awful and would make anyone want to pull their hair out and you have why he is ranked so low. He was basically Archuleta with a rock edge.

Maggie - Big Brother 6




Maggie, the leader of the Friendsheep, comes in at 153. She was in fact my favorite member of the clan, but that definitely isn't saying much. I did always feel, that out of the 5 of them, she was the only one with any grasp on the game. She played Howie like a fiddle and got him to nominate exactly who she wanted, in essence winning the game for her group right there. She always had every member of the alliance at her every whim. And althought a awful human being in her own right, she wasn't quite as dispicable to the people in the house as the rest. Nonetheless, her winning was a tremendous kick in the stomach to basically everyone who watched and a bad end to a pretty good season.

Kate Dearugo - Australian Idol 3




Have I mentioned I don't like generic winners? Cause I don't, and that's what Kate was. For as much as I remember about the season, i don't remember a single Kate performance. And there enlies the problem as she never really made a impact, yet still managed to get the win cause larger talent (Lee, Dan, Emily) were all very polorizing. So all the people opposed to those singers voted for Kate, and she actually took home the win in a upset. She disappeared, as you would expect, and season 3 remains the ugly stepchild season that is always forgotten in Australian Idol history.

Dat Phan - Last Comic Standing 1




When you ask people who is the worst reality tv winner, I think you'd be surprised what a large magority say Dat Phan. He was the bad that the show itself in seasons to come would admit what a joke it was that he won. He wasn't funny, he was new to comedy and he would use the same material over and over. So why did he win? Because he was the ultimate underdog story. Nobody thought he ever had a shot, he was made fun of relentlessly (in a hilarious manner) yet he always took it on the chin. He took every oppurtunity to tell his sob story and the viewers who didn't care about actual comedy....which ended up outnumbering those who did.....crowned Dat the first ever winner. I didn't mind too much since I hated Ralphie May and Dat caused so much drama in the house that it seemed a ok ending. But just going on the premise of the show, finding the funniest person in America, he was the least deserving of anybody.
