Sorry GNG, but she did what Dunst did in the Spider-Man movies.
Had that weepy look on her face while her arms were crossed in front of the chest

I didn't like Maggie in this movie at all.

Excellent movie. Pretty much perfect.
The only thing that bothered me was the amount of mascara the mayor wore. WTF? |

" Are you the guy that's going to kill me?
No, I'm the guy that's going to kill the bus driver." It was AMAZING, and anyone who says it wasn't is just not into good movies. I actually really loved Batman Begins, maybe even more than this movie, just because it was so introsecptive and such a character study. This is a completly different mode. It's not really a super hero movie, it's a Grade A crime drama. Ledger, Eckhart, Bale, and Maggie were all great, although I wish Maggie could have had more to do. Of course Freeman and Caine are great as Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine. |

yes, halirous, very very halirous.
Also where the frick is GreJu (not that I care) but wasn't he the one creamin' in his pants for this movie? What a jackass. mole...Maggie sucked in this. Again, GNG, very sorry, but really, anyone could have done this role. |

I really hated Spiderman 3 so I want this movie to have a bigger opening weekend. It may actually happen based on the amount of money pulled in so far but
I'm not overly optimistic.
FRIDAY 5:30PM: Warner Bros sources tell me that The Dark Knight is opening to a humongous $60M today. That's breathtaking North American box office gross, even for a mega-blockbuster! So the studio is privately saying this latest Batman installment has scored the biggest Friday ever, beating Sony's record-setter Spider-Man 3 with $59.8M scored on Friday, May 4th, 2007. What a weekend this will be... Credit: http://www.deadlinehollywooddaily.com/dark-knight-humongous-60m-friday/

PAPAYOKE wrote: Eckhart is not getting proper credit for his role in this unbelievable fantastic movie! If Ledger were still with us I think they'd both be getting praise but since Heath is worm food he's getting all the glory. And Maggie was a'ight, but I agree that anyone could probably have done what she did. |

Best Movie of the Year thus far. Great performances by Oldman, Bale, Eckhart, and of course Heath Ledger. Loved every second of it and it's a shame
he's dead. One of the best bits of acting I've ever seen on film.

Revenge of the Sith made $16.9 million in midnight screenings, and only finished with $380 million. That's because it SUCKED. I will leave these boards forever if Dark Knight doesn't break the all time US box office record. |

It was truly amazing. I have never been in a movie theater that was so quiet. As soon as the movie started, you could literally hear people eating popcorn.
I went in with such high expectations and usually you get disappointed with expectations set so high, but definitely not for this movie at all. Every single person in this movie was amazing. I agree with mole in that if Maggie was given more she would have been so much better. I wonder if they will do another. :lol |
