The movie wasn't that great.
It was just another summer film. The dialogue was repetitive. Ledger was the best part, but he ain't winnin' any Oscars. |

I actually still thought the Rachel Dawes character was still the weakest part of the movie. She's just not a compelling character. Maggie Gyllenhaal
was a much better actress, but I thought she looked a little too old for the part and had no chemistry with Christian Bale.

Meh. Ledger was great - the story was just so-so, everyone was just distracted by all of the exploding things and didn't notice all of the inconsistencies,
cliches, and outright dumbness going around. The car blowing up? The whiskey being poisoned? Who didn't see those coming?
The ferry scene - again, totally obvious. And the Batman voice sucks. I loved Batman Begins - this is about a C+. |

Dark Knight was an absolutely great movie. All of the acting was top notch. Ledger stood out because he had the best character to play -- actors always want to
play the insane guy.
It will be interesting to see if we finally get a superhero movie nominated for an Academy Award. |

It got the biggest opening day ever at $65 million, just topping Spiderman 3's opening day of $60 million (I think).

Heath Ledger was just fucking amazing, the cinematography was amazing. Little bit slow but I believe that's typical of a batman movie.
All around a pretty good show. |

I thought Maggie would do a better job with Rachel, but I don't think she was that great either, and felt that Katie Holmes would've done BETTER in
this one. But, it just goes to show that Rachel was the weakest character of the two movies.
And we can speculate all we want about the third movie, but I'm just not sure they could pick any other Batman villain and not make it too cartoon-y. |

My sis saw it last night. She said you kind of forget you're watching a Batman movie because it's so epic. I asked her "how epic". She
said "Titanic epic".
