I tried watching this once. I was so insulted that they were asking the audience to believe Jon Cryer was a heterosexual that I turned it off and never watched
again.

Not that I really care, but Jon Cryer is married with kids.

Do they know he's gay?

They did have an ep where Cryer explored a serious man crush on a gay guy.
Uncofomortable ep. Still: my original point about the importance of the vanity cards sets an example here: Lorre later revealed that that ep was an effort on behalf of his writers -- none of whom were 'bois -- to get nominated for a GLAAD award just so they could hang out with Elton John at the awards ceremony. Meanwhile, I am SO looking forward to the return of the crazy stalker chick. |

The show sucked once Rose left. I hope that she is back permanently.

Too funny Rose had that woman like on a retainer to make Charlie sick. Jake is getting big. And I don't mean fat, I mean big.

Quick bump to post that Rose teaching Charlie how to stalk was funny, sublime, and disturbing.
All at the same time. |

I'm not a huge Two & a Half Men fan but I'll watch it late at night when it's in repeats in large part because I have mad love for Cryer &
Sheen from the 80's. However I LOVE the Vanity Cards & have been known to sneak over to chucklorre.com to check them out. The audio one the other
week had me in stitches for no real reason when I noticed it after Big Bang- had to go straight to the computer & listen. I'm particularly amused when
one has been censored as well & I have to go find the real one because I know there will be a good story. Some of the most interesting writing is in these
little nuggest that most people just ignore.
I'm really looking forward to the Two & a Half Men/CSI crossovers though- that should be interesting. ;) |

The CSI gimmick worked great; it was the perfect way to wrap up this season. I think that the mom makes this show.
Favorite lines: Alan: I planned the wedding. It went great. The reception...not so much. Detective: Why? What happened at the reception? Alan: He died! Did you forget? Do you need to write that down? Charlie: I'll wait for you! |

Is that the final ep of the season?
Yeah, Lorre's always good with the battleaxe mothers. Greg's mom in Dharma & Greg made that show for me. I thought it was remarkably well done. The fart gag at the end was particuarly well played. I going to miss Teddy -- Robert Wagner seemed to raise everyone's game whenever he was on. Check out the vanity card -- written by the CSI writers. I can't wait for the CSI this Thursday, when Lorre & co. return the favor. |

Last night's episode was a total riot from begining to end. It's easily the crown jewel of the entire run so far. The mother should get an Emmy for it.

I saw this show for the first time a couple of months ago. I'm amazed by the fact that Charlie not only let his brother move in with him, but has let his
brother live with him for years. Charlie being mean to Allen when they were children is a more realistic portrayal of how siblings relate to each other.
I would have liked it if they had kept Teddy on the show. |

According to TV Guide, next week's episode is a new one, so this wasn't the finale. I love the show, too. It nearly always makes me lol.

Damn. Well it SO should have been the finale because I don't see how they can top this.
If I had any complaints it's that the CSI writers had to rely on too many gross jokes and sometimes I felt like they played it safe a bit and only went for the cheap joke. But I really had a blast with this one, loves the flashback and inside the body parodies, especially the fart! That was gutbusting! I laughed my ass off during this episode. What was cool was they also tied this into the main story somehow and I never got that the Jenny McCarthy character was a con artist! |

On a rerun of the show, Jake referred to the DMV as the DUV.

I have been DVRing reruns of this show and watching an episode every night. I don't know what I'll do when when I run out of shows I haven't seen.
I probably won't be able to sleep. I must say, every time Alan says 'Holy Mother of God' I nearly wet the bed laughing.

I do not understand why the critical press disses this show.
The situation of this sitcom is so warped from the outset that it really should be on a pay-for-TV cable cyborg/vampire/Dr. Frankenstein's Monster/asshole HBO, Showtime, or even Cinemax vehicles. Chuck Lorre is a comic genius. The fact that this is in primetime, on free to watch CBS, and still better than the pay-for-TV cable cyborg/vampire/Dr. Frankenstein's Monster/asshole HBO, Showtime, or even Cinemax vehicles speaks volumnes. Free television folks here. And better than the cable crap. |
