Saw (well actually heard) Elton John in Venice on July 9th. One of the best concert experiences of my life. We didn't have tickets so stood behind the rear
fencing. Nothing beats standing in Piazza San Marco listening to Elton's greatest hits under a starry sky. It was magical.

Elton is playing Moncton & Saint John.
Seating capacity - 8000 - 8500 each venue # of hits on website to purchase tickets - Saint John - 2.5 million Moncton - 1.8 million there was no way in hell I was going to get tickets |

I am going to see Coldplay on Wednesday -- I really don't want to go but am being dragged by my husband and son. It will be like hearing the same sappy

Soooo, the highlight of my summer was last night when I saw Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
That show was fucking awesome. I was a bit worried because Tom missed two cues in the first two songs, it was odd. But he played a lot of rockers. The 2006 tour was more mellow but Stevie Nicks was onstage as well so that was fucking incredible. His version of Gloria last night was absolutely sublime. May be the best single song performance I've ever seen live. And he played a Wilburys song. So it was pretty close to perfection as far as TPATH concerts go. Tom Petty==love. |

I read somewhere that Guppie saw a spectacular show.
Then she turned off the tv and drove to the Tom Petty concert. I guess Eddie Money was busy that night. |
