I recently ordered the first two seasons on DVD and they came today. Excited to watch my girls all day, I popped in the first season and prepared for an all day Golden Girls marathon. Halfway through the second episode, I got a killer migrane - the worst I've ever had in my life. Five minutes later, I got three texts from three friends obsessed with the girls, all telling my Estelle had passed. What started as a wonderful GG day ended in such a somber one. Though, I am happy that Estelle no longer has to suffer. But, to me, those ladies were invincible. Rest in Peace Ma.

Everyday she comes home and when Dorothy asks what she did, Sophia says that she bought an orange. But then we get to follow her throughout her day, and in addition to buying an orange, she does all kinds of charity work.

My favorite Sophia episode is when she and Blanche were fighting over the same guy.� And one of my favorite Sophia moments was when she was asking audience questions to Dorothy and Blanche who were mistakenly put on Rose's talk show as a lesbian couple.� Hope those two air.
