Spoiler [+] Tess springs a trap on Natalie and Jared, but she kills Viki instead. In heaven, Viki is reunited with Asa, Ben, and her granddaughter Meagan (played by Erin Torpey, the original Jessica). Will she go to the light? (Aw... who are we kidding? Of course she won't, and Dorian will be the one to save her, which will make it all the more uncomfortable when the truth comes out about Charlie.) It's deja vu all over again when Cord Roberts watches a woman he loves go over a waterfall. Carlo is about to become father-in-law to Jonas - the true heir to the throne of Mendorra. Will David Vickers (not the dog) be Clint and Nora's key to regaining Buchanan Enterprises? Speaking of David, will he put 2 and 2 together when he finds the date rape drug in Dorian's bag? Lightning strikes, sending Bo and Rex back to 1968. Will they risk altering history by preventing the conception of David Vickers and keeping Bo out of Vietnam? (Did you notice - all three of the big anniversary storylines are a throwback to OLTL history? I'm a little wary that all 3 will score, but the show's been at the top of its game so they may just pull it off.) And Tuc has been a a prima donna on Fire Island, pulling that "Don't you know who I am?" crap that has gotten Naomi Campbell and Russell Crowe in so much trouble. It's decidedly B-list behavior from somebody who refuses to acknowledge his sexual orientation when he's back on the mainland.

It was either the 30th or the 35th when they were trapped in a wine cellar; this looks a lot better. Though Dorian was awfully quick to pronounce Viki dead. The location shot with Bo and Rex was unexpected; even though the lightning strike was way cheesy, I'm looking forward to watching where this story goes. They're also doing a location shoot with Spoiler [+] Sarah going over the waterfall From the stills, the production values are going to be better than you'd expect from a soap.

And so is everybody else, judging from the lack of activity on this thread. Poor Agnes Nixon; she's a soap pioneer, but she couldn't read a line to save her life. And the big metaconcept of heaven being a TV studio was lame, lame, lame. I expected more. It was great seeing Erin Torpey; having watched her grow up on the show. But it reminded me that I've never really warmed to nuJessica, and it would be fun to see Torpey sink her teeth into Tess. Bo & Rex in 1968 has potential, but ewwww to Natalie's little Latina minstrel show. And how strange was that shout-out to Pulp Fiction with Dorian and the needle?

The waterfall thing was wayyyyyyyyyy drawn out, but the ending looked cool at least. The ranch stuff was very camp but I used to be a Passions watcher so I guess I am used to that sort of thing and was amused by it. Enjoyed the Dorian-Mel and Dorian-David stuff lots. Viki in heaven was kinda boring, but I never really like her much so whatev. And how old is Agnes? Considering before this I thought she was dead I guess I was glad to see her and looking as well as she did.

The original Jessica looks the same! I wanted to see Jen and Gabriel, but i guess they werent close to Vicki. but maybe they are still alive!! Didnt watch when Mel was on (or dont remember him) But i liked the scenes with him and Dorian. @ Nigel with a southern accent!!

Sarah's not even tied up, but she sits in a little raft all helpless. I guess it never occurred to her she could jump out and swim to the opposite shore in the barely moving river current. And that waterfall must be all of 30 ft. tall, they just keep shooting the shots with a bluff blocking how short it really is.

From what I hear, they filmed that right near my house, and if that is the case, the waterfall is waaaay more than 30 ft. Although I kind of wonder when they would have filmed it, because the river itself is usually only about a foot deep this time of year, if that.

Lots of memories. I watched the first episode of the the show. It was always my favorite soap. When I lived in San Diego the local tv station didn't carry OLTL. I used to stand with a strand of aluminum foil stretching from the rabbit ears to the window to pull in the LA station. Thank goodness it was only a half an hour then.

However, I keep thinking how powerful it would have been with Roger Howarth and flashbacks to Todd, Zach, and Powell raping Marty. At least Marty's amnesia has allowed the show to address the rape with the right actress in the role. And whoever decided to bring Addie out of her addled state deserves a big, fat raise. The scenes with her, Dorian, and David today were brilliant.
