I only watch near the end. There are always great heavyweight boxers who win gold.
It is the only event I watch anymore in the summer. Like Hockey in the Winter. |

Yeah, boxing's cool.
How those guys can take so many punches and not fall down is amazing. Weightlifting freaks me out a bit. A guy weighing as much as an inflated truck tire can pick up 5 times his weight! AMAZING!!! |

I'm sure they're experiencing "hardship" at whatever level of "hardship" exists in their life. However, several billion people would dream of the luxury that they live in. Likely the OLYMPICS will become extinct. period. |

Iraq has been banned because of a government decision to disband the country's National Olympic Committee after Baghdad dismissed elected officials and installed its own people who are not recognized by the IOC, a senior official of the committee said on Thursday.
