It would be a travesty that he was voted out over less talented dancers such as Twitch and Mark. A lot of the hate towards Will to such a degree is completely unfounded. Don't write about how you absolutely loveeeee Joshua and would be happy/satisfied if he wins, doesn't justify the obvious.

For Mark to be at risk for that reason would mean that these people, a week from now when they have had a chance to cool down, would have to vote obsessively for somebody who is not even their favorite just to spite somebody who did nothing wrong... Are folks really that crazy? I still kind of harbor a little suspicion that Mark has been one of if not THE top vote-getter since pretty early on in the competition. I think they may have made him bottom 2 last week when he really wasn't, and it backfired on them, causing a mass voting frenzy. I think that neither Will's nor Twitch's fan base were as huge as they were made out to be, and even if they COMBINED, it may not be enough to take out Mark if he gets the kind of support he got this week. The problem is, Mark may stay and Joshua may end up an unintended casualty in a war between Mark and Will and Twitch fans... I didn't necessarily want Twitch to be safe to lull his fans, but I sort of wanted Joshua at risk (as long as he wasn't eliminated) to mobilize HIS fans. JOSHUA AND COURTNEY AND MARK FOR FINAL FOUR (either Katee or Chelsie can be the fourth - I don't much care).

What if we don't agree? I actually think that overall, Mark is far MORE talented than Will. I think Twitch has a lot of strengths that Will doesn't have, but also lacks some of the strengths that Will does have. I consider their talent levels comparable. Aren't you a fucking racist for hating on the (other) black guy, Twitch? Or do you just hate Asians? kthx

I don't think he's the top vote getter, that's Katee but I think he is second. I know many think DialIdol isn't reliable but truthfully this season they've only been way off last week and it was SO way off it just made me suspect. I mean this week they had Twitch with the lowest scores but were right with Twitch/Will being the bottom two as well as Comfort/Courtney and again they've been pretty good all season. However last week, Mark topped every prediction list they had for the guys yet he was in the bottom. I definitely think Mark is second only to Katee and that the competition is Katee's to lose which is fine with me because I like her well enough.

I think breaking Jessica's was a mistake, because she took over the weakest spot in the top ten. She should be going after Katee, thus taking out the front runner and making it back into the competition with Courtney vulnerable. Breaking Courtney's ribs means you'll just have to break Katee's next week. Anyway, that's my advice to Comfort. And my advice to Katee/Chelsie/Courtney -- if you hear clicking, RUN!!!!

Posts: 158 (07/25/08 10:46 AM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I live in Canada and therefore cannot vote for this show, so here is my pitch to you guys for when the proper time comes next week: Katee - Final 4, deserves it Joshua - Final 4, deserves it MARK vs. TWITCH - Both are good performers, both lack amazing technique, Mark is more versatile, Twitch has had better solos. However, Mark has been a trooper these past few weeks with crappy partners and no pimpage. Twitch's reaction last night to being in the Bottom 2 was one of the lamest things I have ever seen on reality TV. PLEASE VOTE FOR MARK! CHELSIE vs. COURTNEY - Once again, both are good performers, and in my opinion, both of them have earned a spot in the Final 4. Courtney's solos are better, but Chelsie has been extremely consistent in all of her dances. The major difference between these two is that Courtney has charisma, an endearing personality, and has not received much pimpage, whereas Chelsie has the personality of a soiled diaper and has received tons of recognition for her talent. PLEASE VOTE FOR COURTNEY! Final 4 Katee/Josh/Courtney/Mark Thanks.

Are folks really that crazy? Do you have to ask? They really are that crazy. I know you're right about voting against someone. So in that way backlash won't affect him. What will is Twitch being in the bottom 2, new voters who voted out of spite may not do it again, people voting for their absolute faves (Mark got a lot of "he's my 2nd fave" votes from other contestants - no more of that I think). There are a lot of variables. I think Josh and Katee are a lock. Not sure about any of the other 4. And oh yeah - Hanson, awesome work! You should be a choreographer!

Katee and Chelsie are strong and most consistent in the partner dances, but Courtney outdances both as a soloist (which is to be expected with respect to Chelsie). It's likely that Courtney will probably go home. She had a good run either way. As for the guys, Twitch should go, and I probably would have preferred to see Will outlast Twitch, but as long as Josh and Mark didn't get cut, it's all good.

Oh, and by the way - do not confuse hatred of the judges' behavior this season, with "hatred" for Will. Will clearly had the worst performances this week (with the exception of his solo - but to be fair, that was the first entertaining solo we ever got from him) - he deserved to go BUT - the joy and thrill we got from seeing him go, was not directed at him personally, so much - but at the judges and the much deserved smack in their faces. They need to be reminded that they should remove themselves from trying too hard to force the viewing public to vote who they want to see win The fact that the viewing public got off their asses and went out of their way to vote and make sure they did get that reminder - is cause for much celebration! The fans got it right this week - and that deserves applause!
