I'll check out the novels before the premiere. Sorry Will, but thank goodness it's on HBO. We don't get Showtime, so HBO is my only option.

On the way back in from NYC by the Lincoln tunnel, there is a ginormous billboard for True Blood beverages. And it's advertising a drink that's just like real blood. It made me look twice, and turn around as we passed it so I could get a second look and the website. The guy behind that one should be considered a genius.

I was pissed about Deadwood and Carnivale, but I haven't seen this kind of promotion from them in awhile. My guess is they're banking on this one lasting. It and Dexter being on the same night will be fun, serial killers and vampires..two of my fave premises.

In the meantime, check out this advertisement for the Tru Blood drink form youtube. There's a whole bunch of other videos that look like they take place in the TrueBlood universe, which leaves me very intrigued.

I had to stop and read the advertisement for the bottled beverage. Very clever.
