So now we've progressed (regressed?) from The Robot to a pseudo Running Man/Kevin Bacon from Footloose/Random Gyration combo?

He's pissed at Simon. (I'm a little surprised he "went there" with calling out Simon and Randy for not knowing the names of songs that some contestants sang or the bands that sang them) I don't blame him for still being irked at his (premature) elimination. That was horseshit.

I love love love that interview! I know it's turning off some people that he straight up said he should've made top 4, but oh well. If they won't
buy his album just because he says something like that then they probably wouldn't have bought it anyway. I love his honesty. Everything he said about
Simon and Randy and his fishy elimination was right on. Maybe it wasn't rigged but it was definitely strange when you factor in all he said and more. Not
to mention that the way his elimination was handled was ridiculous and I can't blame him if he's still hurt when he thinks about it. I know I still
can't watch it without feeling like shit. SIGH. I need to look at a hot MJ pic.

I'm glad he's calling it like it is. And you know what, he should have made fucking top 4. So should have Carly. David C, Carly, MJ, and David A. were the 4 most talented of that top 10. MJ definitely should not have gone home when he did. For certain. I'll buy his album!!!! I had already planned on it! |

Not to mention that the way his elimination was handled was ridiculousThat was one of the worst things I've ever seen on this damn show, and considering this is a show that once paired up Kat McPhee with Meatloaf and invited the USC marching band to accompany the "I Am Your Brother" guy, that is really saying something. They downright taunted him with the "Last year on Idol Gives Back, nobody was eliminated... this year...it's different! Buh bye, Michael Johns!" I was so disgusted. |

On the Idol tour stop I saw, MJ got more applause than anybody else (except Archuleta, of course) and his set blew everybody away. I don't think there is
anything wrong with him saying he should have made top 4 (with Cookie, Carly and Syesha, IMHO). He has a better and more powerful voice than KKKristy, Brooke
or Jason, and more stage presence as well. And Archuleta should have been voted off instead of David Hernandez after he butchered his lyrics on top 12 night,
like Brandon and Melissa were. If MJ had said he should have WON, that would be arrogance, but I think almost everybody agrees he was voted off too soon.
I don't particularly mind how the show did his elimination, oddly enough. They knew it would be a shocker, and did something to make it even more shocking. If they had let Carly or Syesha sit down, and put him in the bottom 2, that would drain out about 3/4 of the excitement. When I saw the trio announced I figured "Okay, he's the bottom 3 person. I wonder which of the women is leaving." Probably everybody else felt the same way. So I'd much rather have that then the phony drama of pretending there is a shocker when there isn't, like the ridiculous ploy of seeming to put Cookie was in the bottom 3 on top 7 night. |
