If you're going to go, I'd be proactive and get there EARLY. Cause you know there will be a shit load of fans there.

Yeah, Liquid. Every account I've seen have the buses arriving early afternoon.

can always get up and go get snacks when somebody you don't care about gets up there) While debating whether to go, I kept thinking, what if, for next
year's solo tour, Cook either a) doesn't come anywhere near my city, or b) loses his voice and has to cancel some shows? (Knowing my luck, one of them
would be my show) So, yeah, I basically went as a preemptive measure.

Such a warm welcome! What has Cookie done to Sucks? :) Thanks, guys.
Sar75, my seat was in section B, row 14. Because of the platform on the front of the stage that extends into the audience, we were about 6 rows back! I grabbed the tickets on the day of the concert, lucky lucky me. This made the part where he films the crowd even more thrilling -- Cookie might have me on video, not disappointing him! Yay! And dagny, I went to the season 2 and season 4 shows, and comparatively speaking, the screaming seemed subdued this year. Yes, even for Archie. I was really surprised; I got by without earplugs and had no ringing the next day. I just added 7 more pics to the album. Here's one that has a certain ... charm ...

^ Yes the dude really is awesome. The Idol tour was already in Toronto and I didn't go to that but if he is ever here solo, I am so there.

He can't exactly put that big ass buckle in the front now, can he? He would hurt the 'charm' when he's rockin' out.
LURVE the bling. He's added more in the last week or so. I saw some dog tags I hadn't seen before. (where's bev? She's the resident 'charm' drooler) |

Hey guys. Sorry for the delay in updates. It's been difficult finding the time to get a new Vlog put together, so I thought I'd write a quick blog instead. :) |

Hell, we would've given you the music but a few years ago. Funny how things and people change...Now isn't that the truth! Thanks for the blog post, curve! I think that is a huge part of his appeal... he's not just a piece of hot sizzling ass. |

Okay, I've been checking out tickets on Ebay for Htfd, Worcester, Providence and Manchester and I am not liking the prices for seats I would want. But
I've got some on a watch list, so we'll see. Manchester looks like a very small venue, so that might be kind of cool, but it's the furthest away.
I had to laugh because when I went to that "ticket stub" section on ebay, you can click on the various seating sections to see ticket avail and pricing. The lower level tickets on the "Cook" side of the stage, stage left (where he goes over during PDSTM and near where MJ and DC do their little schtick) are like 3 times as expensive as the equivalent seats stage right. Maybe it's just a coincidence. |

Tonight I found my eyes being drawn down RIGHT between the two fans watching the show. You all are a very bad influence on me and by bad I mean GOOD (thanks for the photos btw - they're great!)

YM You're welcome.
Were pretty close to 7000 posts. I remember when Jason's thread had more posts than Cookie's. Funny what winning can do. See what things I start talking about when I stare at my computer screen too long? |
