25. Mario
 
The most famous of all the characters is ranked at just 25, but I feel it is well deserved. I don't know anyone that actually picks Mario in the first place, he turned into like the default character, and lost all originality. Among all the other interesting characters, Mario just seems.....dull. In terms of actual battling, Mario is OK. Nothing special at all. Without a doubt, he holds the series together, but in this game he is definetly outshined by his little brother. 24. Diddy Kong  
The Donkey Kong franchise was in need of a fresh face, and Diddy Kong fills that spot splendidly. He has an interesting fighting style, but I can find it hard to control occasionally and have trouble playing with him. I think you are either good with Diddy Kong, or you suck with him. Unfortunatley I suck with him. So as cool as he may be, I just can't put him higher than this. |

 N64 Super Smash Bros. is where it's at homiez <333 I was only really good with Pikachu and Ness

23. Olimar
 
I am delighted that Olimar is in Brawl. He is a fantastic character, and such an original fighting style. That being said, you have to master him to be good at him, and boy is he hard to master. I find my self plucking, calling, rearanging and throwing Pikmin all over the place, I only ever win by luck. So Olimar is a character that I greatly appreciate, and is a welcome addition to Brawl, but he just aint my cup of tea. By the way, we are kinda getting to people I like. 22. Ice Climbers  
This is almost the same type of ranking as Olimar's. They Ice Climbers are great characters, I love that there are two of them and that they have ice related moves, but I am just bad with them. They are seriously underused as well. I hate their Final Smash though. You would think being "Ice Climbers" they would be able to walk up the giant iceberg, but they fall down it just like everybody else. WTF? Overall, this is the same thing as Olimar. I love the characters, but the battling is not up to par. |

I love playing Olimar on multi-leveled stages, because his up+b is MURDER on the ground at full pikmin strength.
