Anybody wanna try and explain why sperm and egg are not "life" before they meet up but once they do the resulting blastocyst is suddenly
"life" and worthy of all rights and protections we give fully developed human beings?
Or do we just wanna talk about head for the rest of the day? I'm cool either way, no preference. |

because sperm on it's own hasn't any potential to become a human being nor does egg on it's own. together however they got potential. now, carry on

because sperm on it's own hasn't any potential to become a human being nor does egg on it's own. together however they got potential.Sperm has potential to become a human being if it is combined with an egg. A sperm/egg blastocyst has potential to become a human being if it remains in the environment of the human womb. Both things need certain conditions to be met in order to result in a human being. Both have potential. Just playin' devil's advocate, but it's true. How can an fetus be a homicide victim if it isn't a life? That points to the question at the crux of the matter. At what point do you call something "life" and why? A fetus 5 minutes before birth and a baby 5 minutes after are quite similar. Is the act of birth the determining factor? If so, why then and not earlier? Obviously our society has not yet made a concrete decision on this subject, evidenced by the fact that abortions are legal but someone can be charged with homicide if they attack a pregant woman and kill the unborn child. um, cp? hammy's talking to yaThank you for pointing that out. Sorry hamster. Ain't happening. I'm sure Star Jumper would be more than happy to oblige. |

If she needs money so bad she could sell the house she's living in (valued at $450,000 with an in ground pool) that used to belong to my BF's grandparents. LOL he said that if me and his ex were about to be killed and he could only save one of us, he would save me. |

After he saves you, he's still giving her money.

He doesn't pay child support. The kids are ages 27 and 23 (he's 53).

If he's still giving her money, I don't think he's going to stop. Either live with the fact she's going to be part of your relationship from
now on or dump him and find someone without all the baggage.
