Pennington's problem is he is soft as fuck and has a weak arm, his biggest advantage is he is a smart quarterback who never makes mistakes. Basically he's the antithesis of Bret, he was the starter last year and he played well enough but he's on his last legs. Also they have 3 young quarterbacks on the roster, this was suppossed to be Kellen Clemons(Oregon) year to start but you also have Ratliff who they just drafted in 2007 and Ainge who they picked up in the 5th round this year. As for the Jets, every season they have a bad season and then follow up with a good season mostly because they beat crappy teams and lose to good teams. They are never as bad as they should be or never as good as they should be. They are a play-off contender and with Farve they could make the Superbowl the same way the Raiders, Ravens, and Steelers snuck in. Looking at who the Jets play this year they could lose both games to the Pats and still win the Division with 12/13 wins.

I love that after Brett had finally given up hope of playing for the Vikings or Bears (why he wanted to play in Chicago I STILL have no idea) and OK'd the trade to Tampa Bay that Green Bay turned around and traded him to the Jets instead just to twist in that knife even more. Also hilarious that the ESPN guy is explaining that apparently Brett was wary of going to New York because he's a country boy but then when it was explained to Brett the Jets actually play in New Jersey that somehow made it OK. Here's hoping now Aaron Rodgers gets injured and/or Chad Pennington quarterbacks the Vikings to the Super Bowl. Just to make this whole thing perfect.
