scott eyre has had one (1) good year in his entire career. look at his stats. idk where everyone got the idea that eyre was a quality lefty arm out of the bullpen. it must have been the big contract he signed (after that one good year) because he's never had the production to back that up. |

Hamels has allowed three runs or less eight times without getting a win, including losses of 1-0 and 2-0. Hamels is 0-4 with four no-decisions in those starts. He has a 3.19 ERA in his last six losses. |

hes a starter...we brought him up right before the all star game and he has pitched in one game and the layoff absolutely killed him cause he gave up some runs
too. the odds are hell be sent back down tomorrow with eyre taking his spot.

I saw Manuel brought him late against the Fish because there was no one else and he gave up 3-4? runs which broke the game open. I thought maybe they were
trying to convert him into a reliever for lefty situations. I can't believe Romero is lone southpaw.
Yankees had no lefty all year until they got Marte. Unreal. |

well they brought happ up with the expectation that one of these two things would happen a) myers would suck and/or b) blanton would suck. then myers went out
and gave up like 2 total earned runs to the nats and cards, and blanton pitched really well too so he couldnt take either place.
