I preffered the Femme5 over Fish N' Chix. Jabba was actually a very well deserved winner, they made no mistakes throughout the entire competition and their final three performance destroyed the other two by landslide, it wasn't even close. I agree. I did like Jabba, I just don't want a Jabba rip off crew to win when they don't have anywhere near the charisma/stage presence that Jabba had. I just thought KM should have been at least in the finale. They really didn't make any mistakes up until their bottom 2 dance in the final 4.

Now, So Real (also from Houston) is in the finals and they have never been in the bottom, none of their routines have been memorable either. Something fishy going on in Houston.

SoReal was the weakest, but both SC and FP were off on their synchronization. Surprisingly, for FP it was the beloved Matt who seemed to be doing his own thang at times, especially when they did that 'wtf midget' part of the Flashdance routine. Never the less, I'll miss the energy they brought to my Thursday nights this summer. I'll probably catch a rerun of the final. Is there any question that America will vote SoRealCru as champions, or that they'll do some lame assed routine involving jiggling sunglasses on their pointy heads? I thought not.

While I completely agree with you, the saying is "a dime a dozen", not "a dime in a dozen". I turned the channel during the comercial after So Reals crappy first dance, and then forgot I was watching. Reading that FP was eliminated, I'm glad I forgot.

I can see the producers being skeptical about a crew that has gay people in it because the stereotype of a crew doesn't include that. That's the only reason I wasn't surprised - I always knew they weren't going to let a crew like FP win.

I remember the first time I noticed this was all the way back when Apprentice first aired and I've seen seen it subsequently in other shows.

Cuz they gave us some of the best dance routines EVAH! Loved the diversity of the group and I don't think Glenda will ever have to worry about living out of her car after this show. They were probably my fav reality contestant or group of the past few years. Supersnooze will win over So real snooze, or at least they should. I wonder how they could remedy losing a favorite crew at F3. This is the second year the top 2 crews at final 3 had to battle each other for an F2 place.

They had women, 3 racially diverse women, with the 3 presumably gay guys, all of whom had a great sense of humor. I think there hands were tied on the phone in vote, and the need to put through a b-boy crew for the win. It was obvious from the beginning that supercrew were pimped for the win. And it is always a weighing of the talent versus the drama of the group or individual contestant that the producers look for in these judged reality tv shows.

I think what bothers me most about Fanny Pak's elimination is that I feel they shouldn't have even been in the bottom 2. Their Missy performance was one of the best dances on the show. Last season, Kabba Modern in the bottom 2 wasn't a surprise since Yuri did make a mistake the week before, but they still beat out Breakskate.

Posts: 884 (08/10/08 7:25 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Matt Cady, the choreographer, sent that message on his MySpace: FP only goes on tour if SuperCr3w wins - there's speculation that the reasoning behind this is how many mixed gender groups they'll take on tour. The winner automatically goes on tour and if SoRealCru wins, they take up a mixed gender spot and FP can't go. I think that the producers would want this crew to win. They had women, 3 racially diverse women, with the 3 presumably gay guys, all of whom had a great sense of humor. We have evolved and yet we have not. You gotta check out the MTV boards, etc. to see how rampant the hate was for FP because a) it has gay mambers or b) their moves were not really hip-hop moves (meaning, where's the b-boy moves?), which I don't agree with. It's not just homophobia at play here. To some, crew implies hip-hop only and maybe for them, it's hard to call FP hip-hop. Even Shane, in his interviews, doesn't call it hip-hop even though FP is his favorite crew. I can see the producers having a hard time fitting FP into this. I'm sure all parties are happy with FP making it so far because they're fun and creative (and cater to a different demographic than others) so I don't think there's some evil plot to get rid of them.
