I don't think anyone can top Brian for me. Not only was he the absolute fakest but his fight with Charley was the only time I enjoyed seeing him on my screen. That's it. Mikey's had his share of moments lately and near the start of the series. Kat has cracked my shit up a few times (rewatch the clip of her waving the flag and running during the BB Olympics opening - gold!) while Rachel was sorely underedited in the earlier days and is actually the best voice of reason in that house since Darnell goes off his rocker every five minutes. As for Darnell, he's still the best character of this season. The guy calling everyone out consistently was every fan's dream, as if we were suddenly placed in the house and able to tell everything like it is. Any of them winning is more deserved than Brian, they're all about as entertaining as Cameron, and I like all four much better than Nadia. I won't complain this year.

The ratings watch is always of interest. Right now, the season average is 3.2 M (3.5M after other network airings + OnDemand). Oddly, BB4 was actually one of the highest rated seasons and it actually was pretty consistent throughout its run, probably due to everyone still having BB3 at the front of their minds, thinking the new season would pick up when it never really did.

Note that BB1 was attracting audiences in upwards of 9 M by the end of its run. Tim's eviction (the last in BB3) holds the non-finale record, unsurprisingly, with 8 M viewers. Jade's eviction in CBB5 actually topped that with 8.8 which is unsurprising as well given that she was on the same season.

Overall, they definitely have a lot to rethink about the series. Losing about 600,000 viewers for two seasons in a row isn't a good thing especially considering that the seasons should have benefitted from high gas prices the last two summers. BB9, in particular, had less of a summer slate to compete with until the Olympics started airing. Simon Cowell's shitty Britain's Got Talent lost BB8 plenty of viewers last year from which it never fully recovered. At least this season they were wise enough to avoid head-to-head competition.

All Stars should be zero winners, three weeks long, and take place in January. That would be ace.

I just watched the episode with the bogey incident...I now have less respect for Mo than I ever did for Ahmed. Too bad it will surely be Lisa or Sara leaving this week, but at least I can take pleasure knowing Mo will finish last come finale night.
